The Beach Spider Lily is striking and quite beautiful. A few months ago, I happen to come across Crinum Lily bulbs (Giant White Spider Lily) on a garden website. I had never seen or heard of them before. I did save the picture for future investigation. You have provided a wealth of information today. Thank you !

There are so many varieties of spider lilies, this particular one is my favourite. Once you plant it and it settles, then one can forget about them as they are so easy to manage. The blooms are beautiful!

Interesting flower. But the garden behind you is so beautiful! It looks like itn would be on a different levels of soil height. I would like so much another garden tour!

Would the lily still grow after cutting the bulbs in half without roots attached after trying to divide them from the ground?

Thanks for asking. I always maintained some rooting as roots help to supply nutrients and water to the bulbs.
