I love how Peter has finally admitted to himself and MJ that he is *truly tired,* not just physically but spiritually and emotionally. As much as he loves being Spider-Man, he wants to finally put all of his focus on himself and MJ. He hasn’t retired, he’s just remembering what May said, “Balance is a process, not a destination”. And the way he told Miles was perfect, he’s absolutely confident that he trained his apprentice well enough that he can handle being the one and only Spider-Man. This is honestly one of the best endings to both a video game and a Spider-Man story I’ve ever seen! The fight with Venom alone is incredibly tough and challenging, but you can absolutely feel the pain in Peter as he’s trying with every fiber of his being to reach Harry. And in the final post credit scene when they introduced Cindy Moon aka Silk I jumped with joy. She is perfect for this game series!

Cindy is likely setting up a character named Cindy Moon, who is a Spider-girl in the comics. She goes by Silk. At least that’s what a lot of people are assuming, would be pretty bummed if it’s nothing but a reference. I kind of only know her through scattered comics I’ve seen on the internet so I can’t tell you too much about her myself, but I’m hoping that’s the direction we are going. I’d love to see Miles get to mentor a Spider-person now that he’s well experienced and the step sister dynamic is a really interesting storyline as well.

@@karannaipal6053well they're definitely not going to do what's done in the comics one because Peter is now taking a break so he's not going to be the one working firsthand with silk and two they get real freaky in the comics because of their raw attraction to each other and I doubt Insomniac would ever be allowed so even show any real sexual moments between the two

@@Flipcrashevery other genre is capable of creating a great villain within two hours, many comic book movies two. Any movie version of venom we’ve ever gotten is a laughable embarrassment to the genre, and should honestly be considered criminal use of IP, there’s no comparing the villians, because there made with a different quality. The people who made this game CARE about venom and Spider-Man and mj and rio and Haley, and it makes a better product. Sam Raimi cared about Doc Ock, he didn’t care about venom and neither does Sony movie studios, and your dumb😂

I hope they react to some of the side missions like The Flame or Sandman because they’re truly main story worthy! Also Cindy Moon aka Silk is a PERFECT choice for Spider-Man 3. Her story is that she was bitten by the same spider that bit Peter and has many of his powers, but she has different ones such as the ability to make organic webbing like Tobey Macguire’s Spider-Man, only out of her fingertips instead of the wrists, and she’s MUCH faster than Peter or Miles. To the point that even Peter with his Spider Sense couldn’t react fast enough to her speed.

1:04:04 I have a theory. Because there's two versions of Green Goblin. *Not counting Hobgoblin* The first version is the one we're familiar with in the movies and the second version is the more hulky version with flame abilities. I have a feeling Harry will return has the muscular/fire version of the Green Goblin, but will unfortunately have no memory of Peter Parker being his best friend. However, Norman Osborn will remain the classic Green Goblin! That would be great! 🙏🏽💪

I love all the moments between miles and peter because you would think that miles needed peter more but in reality peter really needed miles more and the passing the torch is a really beautiful moment because it shows Miles growth as spider-man and that peter can really rely on him and trust him to step up.😭

Technically the reveal of Mile's mom's date, WAS a big reveal, but it's honestly not something most people would get. Not to sound douchey, just Silk/Cindy Moon is a relatively new addition to the Spider-Verse.

They skipped a line during the school venom fight. Where peter says "you used to come over all the time after school, even slept over after your mom got sick" and venom says "we couldn't see her like that" right before they go into a bit about how peter was there on the football field when he found out his mom died

Cindy Moon is another member of the spider family she goes by Silk and unlike Peter she has organic webbing and judging by who she fights in the comics (which is a group called Morlun and the Inheritors which are vampiric, multiverse-hopping villains) Insomniac might take the multiversal direction since considering in this game if you collect all the spider bots you’ll get a cool Spider-Man Across the spider verse easter egg they even mention Miguel, so there is a possibility that they’ll be doing some multiversal stuff with these games in the future.

33:15 In case you two don't know, besides Venom having the similar abilities as Spider-Man, his Spider sense can't sense Venom, since the symbiote was bonded with Peter, it knows how to camouflaged itself from it. Making Venom more an difficult adversary

This was truly an amazing ending! Harry almost died but Miles saved him. Also he is now taking over as Spider-Man solo again and Peter will just live a normal life with MJ for a while unless he's really needed once again in the next game.

This was a change (retcon?) to Venom's powers done in 2018. For his first 30 years in the comics he never had wings.

@@jhornacek Still, it shows that this wasn't just a random thing that the devs gave Venom for no reason, everything that the characters are able to do in these games has a source in the comics that supports it.

@@lukasruston8618Yes, the game had ~40 years of Venom lore to pore over and pick and choose what they wanted to include. For example, the symbol on the meteor comes from the King in Black storyline which is only a couple of years old, and was never in the original comic storyline, or any of the previous adaptations.

This was a huge misstep to have this as the post-credits scene and the very end of the game. The majority of people playing this game will have no idea who Cindy is or why her name being mentioned as the last word in the game is supposed to be a big deal. Cindy is not that well known a character - even among Spidey comic readers. For those people she's most known for her terrible origin and first appearances where she was locked up in a bunker for 13 years, but when she was freed she was able to do all of Peter's powers better than him - oh, and she and Peter felt the uncontrollable urge to bone each other when they were around each other. From what I heard once they gave the character to another writer they fixed a lot of problems with her, but she has never been a big deal, like Miles Morales or Mayday Parker. To compare, the post-credits scene of the first game - and the final moment - landed much better. When you say Harry in the tank and the black goo reached to Norman, everyone said "Symbiote! Venom!"

This game's story was amazing, though I do still think the first game's story is my favourite, I still cant deny how impactful and personal both Peter and Miles arcs are with having to come to terms with their dark sides and choosing to confront it and make amends with it, as Miles makes peace with Li and Peter saves Harry. Venom in this game was an *ABSOLUTE BEAST* and possibly the strongest take on the character yet. Im also glad they didnt kill off Harry as Peter has alerdy been through so much emotional trauma, though sadly Harry is now comatosed. BTW Insomniac's Norman Osborn might be the most sympathetic take Norman to date as this take on him truly cares about his son, unlkie most adaptations dismissive or even verbally abusive to Harry. I cannot wait to see what theyre going to do with Green Goblin in a future sequel Really hope you guys do the side-quest missions as they are honestly so good and add a lot more to the story with some being really emotional and powerful

In the comics Cindy Moon is a more powerful version of Peter. She started late though and by the time she came Peter already started his own company on par with Stark's. So Cindy looks like the previous raw spiderman and Peter is a heavily teched spiderman. Miles is more on venom blasts and invisibilities.

So, at the end of the game, the character Cindy is Cindy Moon which in the comics is a character that was retconned to have been bitten by the exact same spider that bit Peter Parker and gave him his powers only moments later. Snd became the vigilante Silk. Initially the character wasn't really well written and had this weird thing where her and Peter were extremely attracted to each other, thanks to pheromones that came from being bitten by the same spider which caused them to constantly make out whenever they were in close proximity of one another. It was pretty stupid and the character has since been much better written after she wasn't written by Dan Slott who created her. I'm not a massive fan of the character so I'm not too excited to see what they do with her.

Cindy Moon in the comics was bitten by the same spider that bit Peter Parker, and has most of the same powers as him, except she can create webs organically. She's able to craft and weave it much more intricately than we've seen thus far from ANY Spider-person: movies, games, etc.

Sandman, Kraven, Yuri(wraith) have stories in the game but they’re side missions but really good. Expands the Insomniac Marvel’s Spider-Man universe

Kraven's story is explained well mostly through the side Hunter and Robot Birds side quests.

A bit sad that they didn't show Yuri side story because Cletus Kasady is appear in there and he got a symbiote. About Cindy at the end she's another spider-woman named Silk that got bite by the same spider that bite Peter.

My only problem with this game is the complete absence of other characters or organizations. For example, in Web of Shadows, where symbiotes invade the city just like in this game, SHIELD quarantined the city and soldiers were everywhere fighting symbiotes. With helicopters, armored vehicles, aircrafts, etc. Hell, even gangsters and kingpin’s men were fighting symbiotes in the streets. But in this game, you don’t see any of this. Not even cops fighting symbiotes.

The real Anti Venom looks like Venom just white with other abilities. He's capable to take health from others and make weapons like Carnage. He can also keep control of himself. It's my all time favorite Symbiote❤ They made manny things different from comics and Animations in the game but i loved how they introduced other Symbiotes

The only part of Miles suit I don’t like is the mask. I get they want his hair sticking out to be original but it doesn’t look good. A normal mask would look so much better
