Spider-Man is always the reason Jameson sparks a new journalist idea. Whatever stunts Spidey pulls, he always find some way to make up stories, no matter how outrageous. It’s like his entire purpose, and Spider-Man completes him. A hate-b0ner.

The Avengers are canon in this universe, along with Doctor Strange, Black Panther, Fantastic Four, X-Men, and Daredevil, with Peter having a sticky note in the first game reminding him to call Tony. They're sidelined mainly to give focus on Spider-Man since this is his game series first and foremost.

Jameson’s mask-phobia annoys me to no end. One would believe that all that negativity he throws at the Spider-Men, is just so the Daily Bugle can keep making money, but he’s hatred is genuine, for when a masked mugger kill his wife. Ever since he has had a grudge against “Freaks with Masks.” Kind of reminds me of Obito from Naruto. Trying to put the whole entire world in the “matrix” just to be with his long death crush. 😅
