In this video you'll see Marvel's Spider-Man 2 gameplay with NEW suit customization options and symbiote variant suits combat and web swinging gameplay!
Massive shoutout to TangoTeds for creating and customizing the amazing symbiote variants of the PS5 symbiote suit! This is a CONCEPT! I made it using mods and LOTS of editing.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is the next game in PlayStation’s critically acclaimed Marvel’s Spider-Man franchise. Developed by Insomniac Games in collaboration with Marvel Games and PlayStation for the PS5 console.

I really like the idea of Suit Unlock Tree. For example, if you want to unlock Across The Spider-Verse's 2099 suit, you have to first unlock regular 2099 suit, and unlock the entire Sony Animation movie suits, and the intersection of these 2 suit branches is the movie suit. same with the other variant. Maybe you have to unlock spider-armor mk1 to unlock mk 2, integrated suit before No Way Home's final swing suit (which I love to call "Rebirth Suit").

Really well made for a fan project. The custom voice lines are super cool too. Seeing how you also hinted at every suit having a symbiote variant makes me want that in the actual game. I would be fine if it wasn't a feature, but if insomniac went the extra mile and created symbiote variants for all or at least some other suits it would be amazing. Even if they're just black and white recolors without any extra detailing I would still be happy.

Just a theory but I think at the end, to fight Venom. Peter will formulate Anti-Venom Suit. A white variant of the symbiotic that we see in this gameplay. In gameplay wise, even after beating the game, it will make sure that Peter still has access to a symbiotic version of the suit that he can totally control without influencing him

One thing that I hope is in the game is that as the suit evolves, Peters swing style changes. In the comics it begins to come out of the top of his wrist. It’d be cool to see his swinging style also become more aggressive along with the fighting. That’d really sink in the feeling that the symbiote is changing him in more ways than one.

Damn, I made it through this whole video thinking this was legit SM2 gameplay footage. I was stoked to see the symbiote customization, the different suits like amazing Spider-Man, final swing, spectacular spider-man….. then I realized “concept” was in the title. And now I’m disappointed cause I know the developers won’t even put half of this in the actual game. Nevertheless, great work on the creator.
