Don't lie to yourself. The final Venom boss fight was average and the Miles section made no sense. It should've been a strictly Peter vs Harry with Miles either knocked out or helping out the people trapped underground The Venom section should've started with a first boss fight when Venom first emerges in Oscorp, you losing and then the final fight being fought across the city with Venom manhandling you across the city and skyscrapers like the Brazilian trailer
They had 5 years. They f*cked up what is it with people trying to absolve insomniac of their crap. "We cut content to get more MJ sequences in the game" they take most of the blame.
I remember some people saying Harry in SM-2 and TASM2 were having spoiled tantrums. Like jokes aside, anyone would act like that if what they though was the cure to their illness was sitting in front of them, within their reach and denied to them.
I agree although it's cool to see spiderman take on such big threats sometimes it's abit far fetched and you have to question why the avengers aren't pulling up lol.
Man, fuck Sony. They just HAD to rush Insomniac to push it out around Christmas which they probably could've given them at least another, like, MONTH. But nooooo just gotta get that out before Christmas and ruin what is mostly an incredible game.
Yeah they should've given them all the time it needed. It's a great game but it's annoying to think about how much potential this game had to be even greater.
I just feel like this game is less balanced than the first. It feels like there’s more action and less behind the mask stuff. And the final act is just too rushed. For the same story to have been better, we just needed more time. More time to develop the game. And more time in especially to final act to stretch that out. I’d add some more Peter and Miles missions while they’re not spidermanning. Especially some kind of mission where Miles and Harry properly meet, so that there’s a little more weight between their showdown. I would have also liked some more of a Bully Lowenthal who is busy spidermanning. And of course I’d stretch out the final act, to make it feel like a proper apocalypse. There was a cancelled daily bugle mission. And the venom chase across the street. Those would’ve been awesome. For Venom being the sole big bad in the final act, he felt underused. And with how well Kraven was executed, he is my favourite villain in this game.
@@trisgameshere Honestly, the addition of a lot of white in Miles’ black and red colour scheme just works so well. With white being a far lighter colour, it adds nice contrast.
True ! I was so much excited for Venom I even switched to PS5 from PS4 for this game and I thought getting platinum of this game would be fun and it felt mid just like how story got in act 3 ! When i was buying this game i thought i m gonna play this game thousands of time like i did with SpiderMan PS4 but no I never felt like playing it after 1st play through its not goty deserving !
Yeah whilst I still enjoyed the game, looking back it was underwhelming in some ways. I haven't really had the urge to replay it aswell like I did with spiderman ps4.
Not gonna lie I was bored my entire play through of this game. I didn’t even finish the 3rd act because I just couldn’t stand to play anymore. SM1 was so good, MM was just okay, but it wasn’t the next main installment so I wasn’t expecting much from it anyways. Spider Man 2 didn’t raise the bar from MM though, and the story was so lackluster.
This game should have ended with kraven being defeated and venom should have been a dlc or another game. Imagine how much better it would have been if kraven was the one pushing Spider-Man and making him more brutal and symbiotic like. making him more and more animal like (considering he’s hunting animal themed villains it would have worked greatly imo) and having some other villain like tombstone help him out
