Description:
Spider bites can sometimes turn you into a superhero, as in the case of Peter Parker in Spider-Man: The Movie. Assume the role of Peter, a good-hearted teenager bitten by a genetically engineered spider, which gives him muscles, incredible strength, and spider-like abilities. You'll have to learn how to control your powers including Spider Sense, web-slinging, and wall crawling, and the all-new aerial combat moves. The world's toughest villains, including Shocker, Vulture, and the Green Goblin will all be after you. Are you up for the challenge?

I like how there's laser sensors on the ceiling. It's almost as if they were expecting a visit from Spider-Man.

There was a pretty good Spidey novel called "Goblin Moon" around this time where Pete likewise breaks into OsCorp at night and actually does discover it's fitted with tons of anti-Spider-Man security tech like that, including vent ducts made out of a kind of teflon he can barely stick to(the book is set well into the comic years, when Peter and MJ are married and Norman is running for Mayor etc). Always pictured that part of the book looking EXACTLY like this level 🙂

Its levels like this that make me feel bad about not beating everyone senseless. The guards all talking about getting paid overtime and wondering whats for dinner. You sneak past them and they likely lose their jobs. You beat them to a pulp, at least they can say they tried and failed instead of just never seeing anyone.

was only 6 years old when my cousins bought me this game and i had to have my dad do this level for me because the sound of the alarm going off and the robotic super soldier voice would give me nightmares lmaooo

I was 6 years old when I had this game. The fact that the alarm went off and the robots coming to kill me almost gave me a heart attack. Sometimes I had to turn the volume all the way down so I don't get scared😅

The doc in this level was my favorite character in the game. All you do is show up and he's ready to help you stop a chemical weapons program

This level and the next always started as super stealthy and then ending up mad dashing to the end because I screwed up running into security. Glad to finally see how to do it right Edit: after watching the video I stand corrected. Lmao looks like we both did it the same way

I have this game on PS2 since I was 9 years old sure does bring me back memories looking at this, this was one of my favorite spider-man games ever along with the other ones I have on PS1, PS2, and PS3. This mission was a little hard for me at first, but it was easy to figured out, and sneaked my way into victory without getting caught or tripping the lasers.

Hopefully Marvel Spider-Man 2 game stealthy missions can be a Activity / Missions and be able to replay them. And the Sam Rami 2002 suit. And last spider sense when someone or somethings close.

Thankfully, there's no stealth bonus in this level. I guess the developers figured that those last lasers were almost unavoidable.

Interestingly, if you activate the first 2 injectors and sound the alarm, you can break to the last 2 control rooms and acticvate C to nullify one of the first 2.

That beginning cutscene really makes you think: What type of gas was in those bombs a couple levels back? Also I remember just pressing the button randomly and setting off a bomb.

One of the most hardest levels in the game even with the web zipping one of the lasers or lights once one touches your screwed robots come out you have to start all over . I remember getting halfway through the chemical process. I had to go to the room with the giant grid nuff said frikken got spotted by the lights and had to start all over again . 10 times

I usually play this level on normal but today I tried super hero difficulty too see if i can do this without getting caught and guess what by some dumb luck i didn't get caught like at all despite them having Even more security and robots at the end patrolling More area I forgot to mention my controller doesn't have analog sticks so I don't have options like moving camera around or targeting (Green spider icon)

On this level there are only 3 super soldier robots, but what if there were 3 different pokemon instead of the robots. Weezing (male), Roserade (male), and Magnezone. Since different pokemon have different moves they'd be shooting all different things at Spider man instead of the same projectiles. Starting the level you'd get a random and rare chance of one the pokemon enemies being a shiny.
