@titanguy7316 ya that was lazy, if I had to alter it, Sandman would almost beat up Peter but change after seeing the remains of Eddie and Harry on the ground bleeding out. He then goes on his monolog and willingly leaves.
I’ve heard that Sam Raimi didn’t want to do Venom in the first place, but some higher ups made him do it. Kinda surprised he came up with such a Raimi-ish scene for a character he didn’t like, only for it to get rejected.
@@silverstrike5904 I do to. I understand the hate but literally the only two things I hate was that he acted too much like an animal like carnage and he was just scrawny asf. Venom has ALWAYS been much larger than spidey. If they’d made venom like 10 feet tall I’d actually have had absolutely no issue with it. The design was awesome
@@DanialDEcool no it doesn't, if you hate spiderman 3 for being too cramped with too many villains and not focused on just one then this scene changes nothing, this guy is talking like the entire movie is gonna be different or something
@@forteexe1335 yes I know but I mean I saw other final battle version edits on youutbe and they didnt make sense as much as this because they had some missing gaps . so thats why ı liked this one more,
It really would have been nice if Penny and the mom were there to hear how Peter forgave Sandman for how he accidentally killed Uncle Ben. Plus, it would've been the first time the mom would hear the truth about Ben's death being an accident since earlier in the film she thought it was intentional but Flint explained how it wasn't like that.
yeah, there's actually some footage for all the metal bars falling and the prop they used for eddie's skull was actually sold a few years ago, plus a figure was made of the scene where venom was grabbing onto peter, AND if you wanna experience the cut ending in some form the official spider-man 3 novelization has it in there too
If they felt obligated to kill venom then the symbiote spitting out Brocks skeleton wouldve been metal as fuck. Itd also further show that Peter dodged a bullet.
The only thing that should’ve been removed from the ending is New Goblin / Harry Osborn's death. I understand he faced the same fate as his father, but it looked in a way where it made Osborn look stupid. Osborn could’ve just tackled Venom or slice him in half with his sword. But jumping in harm's way to get himself killed?!
Instead of having Harry sacrifice himself, I think a good ending for his character arc would have been Harry promising Flint to work with Peter on a cure for Penny, in exchange of Flint going back to jail.
@@vincenzomarino9206 In the words of J. Jonah Jameson: "That's pretty good! But it's taken!" Because your idea reminds me of Mr. Freeze's ending from Batman & Robin (1997). Another missed opportunity was the live-action debut of Agent Venom, I really don’t mind Harry being killed (I only hate how they executed that), because he even died in the comics as a Goblin. But it would’ve been cool if there were an alternate ending where Harry got fatally wounded and small piece of surviving Symbiote comes along and starts bonding with Harry's New Goblin suit to heal, recuperate and transform him into Agent Venom.
I call bs. Everything Raimi Goblin scared me as a kid and the Doc Ock hospital scene gave me nightmares. Don't think this would've been too far from that.
bs… Goblin disintegrated people into skeletons in the first movie, Doc Oct was straight rippin people to shreds in the second movie. There’s no excuse really🤷🏾
That was amazing. Best editing and recreation of the cut ending so far. Really liked the creative montage with scenes that could fit the sequence to make it more organic.
This is actually a really good edit, best one I’ve seen great job. I was waiting for that trailer scene to show up where the symbiote has peters eyes on the floor, but i understand the way u edited it, it works better the way u did it
Better scene than the original one but one thing I don’t understand is sandman’s daughter just gets to the building out of nowhere alone? Really doesn’t make sense at all
I'm missing the sound of Your End Has Come, Spider-Man from When the Sandman scene went to fist-fighting Spider-Man But it doesn't matter anyway. It's well recreated, very well done bro. 👍👍👍
It's cool but I think it kind of runs against venom being a parasite. It makes him seem entirely predatory which it kind of is) but the symbiote needs a host, it wouldn't eat It's own body.
Btw yes, it's original Scenario,i think it looks better :) Why Sandman's daughter here? Bcuz originally Venom caught her as hostage, that's why she is here,in game they are using some moments from original scenario
I don’t get why people hate that choice, at the end of the day Uncle Ben’s death is still Peter’s fault as if he had stopped the robber, he would’ve never spooked flint, sure if you watch Spider-Man 3 for the first time you would be mad when it’s revealed flint killed him but the ending explains how it’s still Peter’s fault, sandman was the best villain of Spider-Man 3 and changing him into Ben’s killer gave us one of the best scenes in Spider-Man movies - the forgiveness scene, we never actually see Dennis kill Ben in SM1 so sandman being the real killer does work
Hot take, but the venom stuff in the theatrical cut is better. More of Sandman's daughter (and the original motivation for Sandman where Venom kidnapped her as blackmail) would have made the ending better tho. Regardless, this was a really good edit of this ending.
The Venom thing is better. But the Sandman one is basically a plot convience… she jus comes outta complete nowhere, it’s to forced. The way their convo played out in the final product is better
The Venom thing isn't better cause as unique as it was, it causes a MASSIVE continuity error. Peter wore the suit for much longer than Eddie did, as Eddie only had it for a day maybe two rather than a couple weeks to a month, yet that thing dissolved him. Would make sense ig if there was extra context like having Eddie stalk him for that long or a showcase that the suit needs to eat other living things like Ultimate Venom otherwise it'll eat you, but there isn't really any indication that shows "if you wear this thing for 24 to 48 hours, it'll dissolve you."
Suprising how Peter wasn't eaten alive at all while he was wearing the symbiote much longer than Eddie has Unless his spider-like physiology allowed him to post-pone it, like keeping him alive for a long period of time before being completely consumed by the symbiote for good But that's my guess, i could be wrong. What was the director thinking?
@@lovepreetgamesWas the ending really that poorly structured before the reshoots? Lol. How can you have the whole scene of Dr Wallace and Sandman’s family happen before Venom’s defeat? Shouldn’t it come after like in the final cut? Weird
I actually prefer the theatrical cut for once. That bit where Peter rescues Eddie from the Symbiote, only for him to dive back in and get blown up was craaaaazy to see as a kid and still is every time I see it. One of my favorite parts
Damn maybe they should release 4 with the change in story from No Way Home, and have this be the canon ending for 3. Harry will survive this feels like a much better way to pick up, plus pays off on the way Toby’s time would have changes saving Norm and Otto.
So did the sand man part really happen did he just ask uncle Ben for the car and didn’t like gta him out of him no fighting no nothing it’s been a long time since I seen this movie so I don’t remember
