I decided to glitch-hunt this game to see where can I get out of bounds and how is it useful for speedrunning.
I explored the area of the Connors 1 mission ("The Lizard No More") -which you can explore when free roaming. I found a test area that the developers left in the game.
This area is huge. It's filled with subway/sewer tunnels and big rooms.
Most objects are not solid and have placeholder textures. Mostly, walls and pipes that lead to other rooms have collision. Some of the walls are pretty weak and it's easy to clip through them. The final section of the area loops eventually.
Few areas remind areas in the final missions. For example, the room at 7:08 looks very similar to the room with the last dispenser in the Connors 2 mission ("The Salvation Of Dr. Connors).
I explored the room at 12:35 for too long in my opinion, that's because I thought there's a fake doorway that I wanted to show before proceeding to the next room, which I couldn't find. If you find this part boring, skip to 16:45, where I finally leave to the next room.
The fake doorway that I was thinking about is actually found in 20:34.
In general, I suggest watching this video in x2 speed (or more, if you can).
