I’m 28 years old so I still have a bit of a soft spot for the mid to late 90’s Spider-Man. Even some of the early 2000s stuff. It was my introduction to spider man. I try to collect as much of the 90s Spider-Man as possible. I’m almost done collecting all 14 issues of the Maximum Carnage run. I have 11/14
I kid you not, I still read this run. I have searched for a Spider-Man run that bundled tons of series into one issue each month. Hundredsixty issues collecting over 440 comics. Right now, I am currently at the story line with Morbius being locked up by the Crown and his wife and also the return of Kravinoff's son, Sergei.
I remember I stopped buying after Mcfarland left in ish 16. The second print of ish 1 with the gold cover is worth more than the first print, and I would get that one graded and slabbed. I think the ones with Mcfarland art will hold up in value nicely, but the rest can probably be found in the dollar bin or worse, the quarter bin.
Hey budd, just curious. I have a copy of Spider-Man #1 the original cover. But Ives noticed others the web is grey, while mine is purple in color. Is that another variant or an error?
I just checked my box of goodies from school days, over 30 years ago. I found the silver version of this comic. #1 silver. How much is it worth? Mine is sealed but not rated.
@@Stickygoose Is that all ? wow, i was hoping it would be around $50 or so. I will have to check out my other 200 comics from 1990s now. see if they are worth anything. I never read mine, they went straight into the plastic covers.
