Insomniac's Spider-Man PS4 is quite possibly the greatest Spider-Man adaptation ever made. They did Peter's character as well as Spider-Man's character absolute justice.

As soon as the campaign started I knew instantly it would be a an exclusive fans loved simply because Spiderman is popular and most famous marvel superhero. The problem with ps4 is that they really didn't do anything new to stop making the freeroam a repeat of Spiderman tobey games, nor the classics which I rank over Spiderman ps4. A lot of people love dr Oct in this game, I belive the main boss should've been Mr negative or tombstone. To me seeing Dr Oct on another spidey video game for the 1. Millionth time is drastically Boring! And the boss fight felt like Spiderman 2 fight but with Amazing Spiderman Cinematoc effects. Marvel's Spiderman ps4 webbing gadgets, and techniques are Honestly not that impressive. His combo take downs are boring, they show the same animations which the other video games did do. The screwball missions is one major problem, I didn't mind Harry's environmental clean up only if it would've fit well the overall story plot to build up to the main mission objectives. The sound effects sound cheap and the combat is beyond retarded to look at. I mean serious you just mash, mash, mash. Web up, web up, web up, and a couple of combos and no new improvements just the same thugs, same chasedowns, same pigeon chases which is stupid since spiders web pulls in real life will be powerful enough to injur or kill pigeons lol 😆 . Boring girlfriend scenes all of his girlfriends including Mary Jane friend zoned him. The only mission I appreciate besides Mr negative was the hammer head Dlcs. Things got a little bit serious with Spidermans detective skills there. Everything else was all about a boring bland of spidermans life and the only thing that caught my attention in the main story is the aunt may and Jefferson Davis death. The rest is just God forsaken boring with the boring swinging animations and nothing else to do but look at a BEAUTIFUL POLISHED CITY. "?"But hey Spiderman has a new suit and he can catch trains, and unpack towers while reading news paper? Oh my! GOODIE GOODIE WOW! THIS IS THE Best Spiderman game we've ever seen up to DATE 10/10 YES 👏 😃 oh and snapshots " Bro accept it seriously this game ain't even close to the amount I had on ultimate Spiderman, edge of time nor Shattered dimensions or web of shadows or Spiderman 2. I have good reasons why. Shattered dimensions played as 4 different timeliness of Spiderman to save the universe of mysterio from becoming a god like Dr. doom that was a more impactul story over Dr Oct and the boring sinister 6 plot. Edge of time once again Spiderman saves his universe and Miguel's future. Ultimate Spiderman you learn why Eddie and Peter's DNA was perfect for mutation of symbiosis and spider mutation plus the challenges are underrated. Spiderman 2. Besides the swing pizza time is memorable and the swinging on new York statue of liberty on Spiderman 3 too is unforgettable you mean to tell me we have a new Spiderman on ps4 graphics but he can't go to the statue of liberty but he can take pictures ??? Absolutely, especially on an Ultimate difficulty playthrough. You're pretty much forced to move with superhuman speed and agility to survive that. It really drives home the feeling of being Spider-Man.
I think the textures and graphics of Spider-Man are very good in both games!!! But the animations seem way too slow in the Avengers game.... Insomniac did a much better job with that.
That's an issue with all the characters in the Avengers game. Iron man, Hulk, Thor... they all feel really slow, and heavy. So I never play with them. It's almost like the animations has littearlly been slowed down.

Independientemente de lo bueno o malo que sea el spiderman de avengers. Este video solo resalta el amor que Inmsoniac le dio al trepamuros, a día de hoy me sigo sin creer que tengamos un pedazo de juego de spiderman como este.
Tbh I kind of like the eyes in the avengers one, that inner camera lenses in the eyes is pretty cool detail, and the webbing that he shoots on the wall is pretty nice detail, also the texture and some designs of the different suits look pretty neat as well, obviously insomniac is a 1,000 times better over all but there are some nice things about the other one

Es evidente el ganador, pero también veámoslo desde la perspectiva de que uno es un juego dedicado a Spiderman mientras que el otro es una expansión, tampoco está mal.
La gente compara las mecanicas entre los dos juegos con un factor comun como spiderman, la comparacion es tan dispareja como comparar a el spiderman de ultimate aliance con el juego de spiderman 3, no tiene mucho sentido decir porque evidentemente es infinitamente mejor el es spiderman de un juego que se hizo alrededor de el, a el de uno que es un personaje mas dentro de un juego con diferentes mecanicas, diferente motor y enfoque, esto lo entenderia mas gente si tuviera una poca nocion de como funciona un motor grafico y el desarrollo de un videojuego.
Además, que sentido tendría que sean iguales. Cada desarrollador puso su visión del personaje. Esto me recuerda a la gente que esperaba que los personajes de marvel Avengers tuvieran los mismos rostros del MCU. Criticaban eso cuando mi al caso. Concuerdo con tu comentario

This was one of those occasions where Christopher Daniel Barnes would have been needed, or hell even Sam Regal, no offense to the guy they did get, I’m sure he would have been cool if if they gave him a better script, or stuff to work with.
Insomniac - Highly detailed in terms of Graphics, gameplay and overall depth. Swinging is accelerated in addition to momentum and web always sticks to nearby objects. Avengers - Slapped in blocky textures, weird animation and postures, uncomfortable camera angles and shitty slow traversal. Swinging movement is so slow and web always aimed upwards which unrealistically anchors on air.

@@aldairrivero8010 No es despectivo, es que los juegos indies son normalmente juegos mas contenidos al tener poco presupuesto, pero ese Avengers al ser un juego de alto presupuesto no se le puede perdonar hacer detalles que parecieren ser hechos por un equipo mas pequeño y de pocos recursos, recordemos que Crystal Dinamic es un equipo de desarrollo igual de grande que Insomniac.

Obvio habrán juegos indies pésimos, pero incluso hay juegos indies que tienen más detalles y cariño que lo hecho en Avengers, es que básicamente nunca escuchas "que juego tan feo, parece un triple AAA" o algo por el estilo. No sé, me parece un poco denigrante que como punto de comparación malo sigan mencionando a los estudios indies, cuando es igual de común que los estudios grandes también hagan juegos basura jsjs

Bueno, viendolo de manera independiente, ambos trabajos están buenos, y se logra, aunque a duras penas se logra tener a Spider-man e Marvel's Avengers, teniendo en cuenta la calidad más o menos aceptable de las animaciones de movimiento que maneja Pero comparando ambas, la versión de Spider-man que hizo Insomniac es simplemente perfecta, no ha habido un juego que calcara mejor la personalidad, la agilidad y el poder de Spider-man que el que hizo Insomniac Games, aunque como cada videojuego tiene bugs y errores, se perdonan con Marvel's Spider-man de Inaomniac porque se logró lo que no se pudo en su totalidad durante casi 17 años al hacer juegos de ese personaje, con la excepción de algunos como Spider-man 2 basado en la película Además, el de Marvel's Avengers literalmente se balancea agarrandose del cielo XD

El problema fue EA, que obligó a Crystal Dinamics a destruir su juego y modelarlo a la exigencias de EA. CD también hizo Guardians Of The Galaxy y ese juego es maravilloso. Supongo que así es como Avengers iba a ser, y así es como se ve que comienza su modo campaña, hasta que en la mitad de la historia aparecen sin ningún aviso previo las mecánicas de live service y el juego cambia completamente :/

I think the biggest issue with the Avengers Spider-Man design is that there's either a little too much detail or a little too much emphasis on realism. Like you can have detail and realism in how the character looks, functions, or behaves, but it can't be the only thing you depend on. Are there some details in the Avengers design that are cool? Absolutely. The eyes look nice, and the effects surrounding the Webs when he shoots them out are neat. But, you can kinda tell they paid a majority of their attention to the details of the character's design and not necessarily on his functionality. Spider-Man still needs to have some suspension of disbelief regarding all of that. That's what makes the PS4 version the best; it doesn't sacrifice fun for the sake of realism.
El modelo 3D me gusta más el de Spiderman, en textura el de Avengers (menos los ojos, eso están feos jaja) En jugabilidad pues obviamente Spiderman, es un juego pulido y optimizado para este personaje. Se nota que en Avengers solo está para cumplir con lo que los trajeados querían.

Hay teorías de que se supondría sería un universo compartido de videojuegos, y que no serían los únicos que estarían entrelazados, que sólo serían el primer paso a un "Universo de Videojuegos de Marvel" (MVU), y hay pruebas de probablemente sí iba a ser así. Un productor de Spider-Man más o menos dijo que si todo salía bien, Marvel estaría dejando a "Marvel's Spider-Man" para los videojuegos como lo es "Iron-Man" para las películas. Explicaría, entre algunas cosas, el porqué del retraso tan extendido del DLC, el porqué de una referencia hacia los vengadores (que están en la costa oeste [igual que en el juego de Avengers]) que está en el juego de Spidey, el porqué del cambio del modelo facial para la versión de PS5 de Spider-Man, que suponen es porque se iba a reutilizar al mismo modelo para esta nueva versión de la araña y debido al fracaso que fue, prefirieron deslindar los proyectos y dejar a la nueva versión sin un modelo facial, que no sé cómo es que se sabe, pero iba a tener una skin sin máscara. También existen movimientos de los personajes que se parecen bastante o que son literalmente los mismos, como demuestran algunos videos que hay. Y como cereza del pastel está la curiosidad de que ambos juegos (junto con el de los Guardianes de la Galaxia y el próximo de Wolverine) llevan "Marvel's" en el nombre, cosa que ningún otro juego llevaba antes de la marca.
Tienen diferentes creadores el juego de guardianes de la galaxia y el marvel avengers son de square enix (Que yo creo que estan en un mismo universo). Y por otra parte tenemos a marvels spiderman y el miles morales y proximamente el juego de wolverine (Que supongo van a formar otro universo) De insomniac y ademas que confirmaron de que el spiderman es diferente a la del marvel avengers
Yo también leí lo mismo. Hay que ver qué pasa, hasta ahora vamos con Spidey, Avenger y Guardians of the Galaxy. Todavía hay tiempo para que los personajes hagan un crossover. Spiderman no se sacó la máscara en Avengers, por lo que podría ser posible que sea el mismo personaje… tal vez?
Y sí, Marvel oficialmente abrió su departamento de videojuegos, por eso todos llevan el título de Marvel’s. Ellos son los directores de todos estos videojuegos y buscan personalmente a los desarrolladores, mientras antes sólo vendían los derechos y aceptaban propuestas.
I really like Spidey's classic suit in Avengers. It captures the design from John Romita Sr, except for that circular thing in his lens, which is the only thing that's bothering me about it.
Don’t forget, that the Insomniacs Spider-Man released in 2018. And it still looks this good, with the suit having such sophisticated textures/materials, while the Avenger suit has the texture and look of a basketball.
4:01 A detail that they skipped on Avenger's Spiderman: You can see exactly where the mask ends and where the collar of the shirt starts, there's one single line that's completely straight and goes around Peter's neck right under his jaw, whenever Peter doesn't have the mask, that's where his suit ends, this is nowhere to be seen in Avenger's version. There's also the fact that Peter's proportions are all over the place in Avenger's version of the character, the head is too small for example, it's heavily stylized.
I don't know if it's just me, but i feel like the avenger's spidey seems a little top heavy. Like he looks significantly more buff than the Insomniac's counterpart, which i guess is pretty realistic in terms of being a superhero but still it doesn't feel right when it comes to Spider-man.

Para mi el principal problema está en el movimiento. En Avengers están como que muy toscos los movimientos sobre todo del balanceo. Ciertamente, es justificado considerando que se tenía que mezclar con los otros personajes del juego. Sin embargo, eso no quita el hecho de que un producto tiene más detalle
Not gonna lie, under certain aspects I prefer the Crystal's Dynamics Spider-Man, I like the design of his default suit more, same for its textures, the style of the spider logos on the chest and the back (they remind more of Ditko and Romita's design), and also the lenses of his mask. All of that seems more comic inspired and realistic to me. For what concerns the animations and fighting I obviously think that Insomniac Spider-Man is done better, but I also feel like the way Crystal's Dynamics Spider-Man swings and crawls up the walls looks realistic and more down to earth in its own way.
His movement in the avengers is way too sluggish and weighty, the way he can’t build momentum during swinging is just jarring, but i can see why some might like it

@@Sagegabs Pues eso ya dice mucho cuando en un juego tienes que llegar a un nivel de poder de 150 para poder balancearte de una manera al menos comparable a como te balanceas en otro juego desde el primer nivel.
es interesante por que el de los avengers me lo esperaba, de por si no fue tan bueno nisiquiera el dlc de spiderman y black panter lo salvaron, el juegos de spiderman del 2017 es un joya, y se sigue biendo bien a pesar del tiempo
Imo the close-up textures of both games are just as good as each other. The Avengers animations will hopefully get sorted with future updates. Like the hands disappearing into walls and Spidey floating in mid air. But I prefer the colour temperature of the Avengers game.
There's something about insomniac's spider man that feels way much better, the swing, punches. The other spider man is good, but he feels slow for some reason, and the punches he does feels like it doesn't have any weight onto it. Maybe it's just me, both are unique in their own way. But the way the avenger spider man swing in mid-air attaching his web in some sort of force field or an invisible wall makes me feel uncomfortable

Recuerden que uno es el personaje de un juego completo construido en torno a Spideman, mientras que el otro en un DLC gratis y adicional, ni siquiera es un lanzamiento global, es solo un extra. Y el de Avengers si tiene buenos detalles, no es la basura que todos dicen que es. Pero la moda el tirarle hate al juego… y todos siguen la moda 🤷🏻♂️ Además los dos son juegos oficiales de Marvel… no sé cuál es la idea de hacerlos competir, si Marvel seguirá sacando juegos y todos serán parte de su colección. Son complementarios, no excluyentes. Yo por lo menos estoy feliz con esta nueva era de juegos de Marvel, que comenzó con Spiderman, los voy a comprar todos 😍
Se entiende que sea un DLC y no un juego completo como la versión de insomniac, pero si lo vas a hacer exclusivo nuevamente, al menos dale coherencia que se balance de los edificios, sino mejor no lo saques

I can't deny that the whole Avengers game looks amazing graphically. And the combat is also fun, and heavy hitting. But of course, Spiderman also looks amazing, and is a better game. And also a game meant only for spiderman would have the best Spiderman.
I'm glad that we have both versions of Spider-Man in fact. The Avengers game goes for a realistic aestethic in terms of textures, body type and movement, so their version of Spider-Man makes sense. Insomniac is also realistic but doesn't shy away from comic book-inspired proportions and movements, to achieve those classic poses and scenarios.
Not even trying to compare Insomniac's to Square Enix's, but SE could've made their spidey play more fluidly. Blank Panther feels more acrobatic when he moves and fights. Im totally fine with SE's takes on the spidey outfit. It gives me comic vibes. Would've been nice if ue was just a tad slimmer but still looks great.
I have to admit the textures on the classic Avengers suit really feel like something that you can reach and touch, looks like rubber. The insomniac suit just doesn’t give me the same vibes. Don’t get me wrong the insomniac Spider-Man is superior without a doubt, will always be my favourite. Haven’t even played Spidey on Avengers yet and seeing the footage I have to admit I’m not feeling very persuaded. 🤣
Hay que ser prudentes y destacar que un juego fue dedicado enteramente a Spider-Man, por lo que su jugabilidad, diseños, animaciones y demás serían mucho más detalladas y pulidas, en el otro juego solo es un personaje más.
