Spider-Man: Far From Home - Spoiler Review 

Talos has no beef with CM. He said to Peter "don't invoke her name" as in someone telling you not to invoke god's name in vain or something like that. The skrulls adore her, she saved them all.

My niece probably had the best movie experience of all of us. She knew nothing about Mysterio, and had leaned over to me and told me that he was her new favourite superhero about five minutes before he revealed himself. She was so shocked, it was brilliant!

Adam, Kevin Feige said this in an interview last week about the next Spider-man Film: "It’ll be fun to see Spidey back in his element, out of the shadow of Tony, out of the shadow of the other Avengers, as his own man now, as his own hero. And yet now facing his own challenges that aren’t coming from Avengers fighting, like Civil War, or aliens coming, like Infinity War or Endgame. It’s all Peter focused and Peter based.” So it sounds like we will be getting that Spider-Man universe focused movie next. 👍

The best part of Zendaya's character was that She's fiercely independent and strong. She is afraid but she deals with it so beautifully. The scene with Peter and Zendaya on London Bridge after the fight was perfect.

I loved the first act of the movie BECAUSE of MJ and Peter. That rom-com cuteness was much needed and funny and just great.

The mysterio nightmare scene made me say wow so many times. Jake Gyllenhaal is and always has been a top tier actor in my book he killed it man.

I remember being so confused by Fury's line about Captain Marvel. And then it clicked into place after the end credit scene. :D

I LOVE the idea of a court drama with Spiderman and Jameson with Matt Murdock. That would be so fun. If they did that, they could use a Skrull to morph into “Peter” and be on the stand while Peter is Spiderman in the court too.

Another hint at Fury being a Skrull is when he explains to Peter that Mysterio is from Earth, just not YOURS. Why would he say Yours and not Ours?

One of my favorite things actually was how long it “dragged” on. When we got to the plot-twist/hard-core action sequences, I checked the time and I was ecstatic. I was so invested in his LIFE. I felt like I was there. It wasn’t just like: You’re in; The Plot; BOOM; Resolution; You’re out. That was the first I felt a movie allow me get totally invested in a character’s life like reading a book.

Watching other videos, there were subtle hints about Fury and Hill being Talos and his wife. Somewhere in the middle of the film, they were talking about Kree sleeper cells. Also, when Fury was introducing Beck to Peter, he said, "He's from Earth, just not YOURS." That got me good

I think it would be cool if they had a Skrull shift into either Spider-Man or Peter to help prove to the public that he's not Spider-Man. Then as an apology, JJJ hires Peter at the Bugle.

My prediction is now that Scorpio knows who Spiderman is, he would ask Kraven the Hunter to hunt him down and fails in the end. At end of the movie, you see Scorpio and Adrian Toomes get out of jail, and you see Norman Osborn waiting for them.

This film made me really like Zendaya's Michelle/MJ mash-up. I liked her as Michelle in Homecoming because she was cool and funny. She seemed like an adaptation of Michelle Gonzales, a lawyer who Peter dated in the comics. When I heard her call herself MJ, i didn't know how to take it. MJ is very different to Michelle. And no I'm mot talking about how she's a Caucasian natural redhead (I thought those fan images of Zendaya with red hair were awesome). MJ is the good-hearted popular girl who wants to become an actress. Michelle isn't. But Far From Home showed us more about her and I think she's awesome.

Was happy that we saw Spider-man swing around NY now, it felt right and something that I missed, to see him swing by the huge buildings.

Far from home has the absolute best Spiderman action I've ever seen.

One small issue I have is that Peter claims to be 16 years old but should really be 17. If he was 15 in Hoco, which takes place 2 months after Civil War, and Infinity War takes place 2 years after Civil War, then he should be at least 16 in Infinity War and Endgame. Add the 8 months from returning from the blip and Peter should be at least 17 years old. I've just now realized that I've basically made a whole essay on something so unimportant lmao.

That shield guy Dmitri is probably Chameleon! Which could lead to him or Kraven as the villain in Spidey 3.

why did E.D.I.T.H. listen to Peter when Beck never confirmed to give control back? I believe Mysterio is still alive and just faked his death. He got plenty of time to make adjustments to EDITH, so the glasses could lie to Peter about Mysterio being dead. Jake Gyllenhaal was so good to just kill him off.

I’m really thinking they could do Kraven after this, think about it they are painting Spider-Man as a villain at the end. This could lead to a good “hunt” for him to try and take down Peter because people can believe he was a murderer. Kraven could be a good character to have next.

Hey Guys, love the content! As far as Peter's identity being revealed in the mid-credit scene, they showed you the solution to the problem in the end-credit scene - Skrulls!!!! A Skrull could pretend to be Peter Parker at school when the media show up then Spidey swings in to dispel the rumor. Photo op, Peter and Spiderman shoulder to shoulder waving at the camera. Front page news! Keep up the great work!!!

This is the best Spider-Man movie ever made. It's the first movie that feels like a kid finding his purpose. And MJ and Peter shine every second they're on screen together.

For the Nick Fury Skrull topic, I saw a video that suggested that Nick Fury has been a skrull since Age of Ultron because what he did at the end of Winter soldier, and also how he cut his sandwich in triangles then and in Captain Marvel he specifically referenced that he can't eat a sandwich that is cut in triangles. Not really Hardcore evidence but this theory still holds a lot of weight. Even if this was true he could have actually showed up to Tony's funeral but who really knows.

Mysterio was an excellent villain.

Life is getting interesting for Happy... a girlfriend... a daughter to raise so to speak and a son to raise. Tony’s daughter and Peter.

The guy who drove the bus when Peter activates EDITH for the first time's name was Dmitri. Dimitri Smerdyakov is the Chameleon in the comics. I went to see the movie with a couple friends and one of them thought that the guy who grew up during the Blip that Peter goes against for MJ was setting up Mr. Negative. I really hope that Mysterio isn't actually dead and he's still out there. I think the MCU would benefit from at least a couple villains live through a movie.

They used Talos/Skrulls for Fury, just use Talos as a stand-in for Peter Parker or Spider-man, then have Tom Holland appear somewhere because he obviously can't be two places at once. Problem solved with an easy solution built into the setting already.

Fave moment - Peter building his suit, Happy smiling at the resemblance to Tony, and of course “Oh I LOVE Led Zeppelin!” 😂😐 Peter doesn’t know AC/DC 🤣

Daredevil in he MCU, yes please. I also want to see D'Onofrio as Kingpin show up in these films. I was first introduced to Spidy via the 90s animated series, and have wanted to see those two face off in the theater for years now. Also neat to hear rumors about Morrisey possibly playing Ozborn. I'd love to see Ozborn and Kingpin funding the Sinister Six together before one ultimately betrays the other. Also wondering if Mysterio's Parker reveal could eventually lead to Venom going after the kid.

Most underrated channel on RU-vid, I love you guys

Zendaya was awesome, and her chemistry with Tom Holland was adorable, plus she had some damn funny quips. I'm hoping that it will rub off on Peter and we'll get a more smart-mouthed Spider-Man. I never thought that I would see Mysterio done so well, as he is in this. Jake was perfect casting and did a fantastic job, as always. There was a sense of real danger for everyone in this movie. At no point was it easy for Peter, at all. A great Spider-Man movie and far superior to Spider-Man 2, in my opinion.

I think that with the revealing of Spider-Man, that's a way for Peter to find work on the Daily Bugle and try to change the people's mindset of him being Spider-Man.

At the end, they show one of the guys working with mysterio, watching the interaction between peter and Quentin, and downloading it. I believe he’s the one that made the video revealing peter’s identity.

Remember that at the end of homecoming, vulture was questioned about Spider-Man’s identity. Scary

You forgot to talk about Dmitri who is supposed to be The Chameleon in the comics. Jonn Watts did say he would like to see Kraven as the next villain, the chameleon and kraven are brothers in the comics. As to the big reveal, it would be amazing to see Kraven as the next villain. There are theories as well that Mysterio didn't die because Dmitri (the chameleon) took his place in the end fight, due to Mysterio saying if his plans didn't work, there would be "contingency plans" ready.

After watching it a second time, notice that Maria Hill never calls Fury "Fury" as established in Captain Marvel. In FFH she only ever says "Nick". So they were hinting at Skrulls the entire movie.

Regarding Mysterio's death, one of the drones fighting Peter spun out while shooting and hit him.

I'm good with whatever they do with Spider-Man's identity...as long as it doesn't go the One More Day route. Nobody could be better as JJJ than JK Simmons. He can tone down and deepen his performance for this more realistic take on Spider-Man. They're making the fans happy and getting a great actor for the role. Win/win.

I was thinking going into the film that Fury would’ve Chameleon so I still really liked the Talos review because it’s the setup for sword. I completely disagree with hector, JJ casting of JK Simmons is perfect and i don’t know anyone who agrees with you. Plus this version of JJ is just like the video game so this reveal is sick imo

The director mentioned how he wanted Kraven the Hunter for the next movie. If Peter is going on the run, I feel like that'd be a perfect villain. Or perhaps Donald Glover's Prowler.

My favorite theater experience in awhile there was a teenage girl in the audience reacting to Peter and MJs scenes so purely that the audience would laugh it was so fun. Lol

So if the old Avengers Tower does end up being Oscorp, which I also thought about when they mentioned selling the tower in Homecoming ^_^, then I'd be fine if a lot of Spidey villains come from there like they work there or whatever. What I don't want however, is for there to be a badguy basement where Oscorp is just manufacturing all this villain stuff for no reason. Because not only will that origin get boring after a while, it will also take away elements of some characters that kind of need to be there. Like Octavius should be the one to make his arms. They shouldn't just be in a vault somewhere before he enters the picture. I also think it could end up being the Baxter Building though because it make just as much sense as it being Oscorp.

What if J Jonah doesn’t know the age of Peter because he’s “21 years old”

I understand people being miffed with having everything be connected to Tony and Tony getting all the big moments. Sure, this is a Spider-Man film but it is also an MCU film. A MCU film that is bookending the 22 movies before it, within those 22 films Tony has a direct influence in, what? More than 2/3's of them? Tony was also the reason that really kicked off the MCU. This whole insane 10 years of movies is all owed to RDJ/Tony and I think it makes complete sense that he continues to have an influence especially since Tony is what was used to bring Peter into the MCU as well. Yes, Tony's influence will die off but this was a fantastic way to go ALL the way back to IM1 as well as the other films and use them to enhance Peter's own story and at the same time bring this all to a close. This film was a means to fully epilogue Endgame and set the stage for where Phase 4 will go. It's clear the Avengers aren't around, Fury is in Space, Talos and his mate are keeping an eye on things back home, and those in the know seem to be invested in training up Peter to act as the new first line of defense for Earth. Not only that but there are clearly forces at work already and after Beck made such a grand show and the Avengers didn't show up, that gives the MCU a good area to go to in terms of Villains showing up. A pure Peter only story would be nice but this isn't Comic Book Peter Parker. This is MCU Peter and I really think people need to start accepting that some level of integration with the rest of the MCU will always occur.

The first half was absolutely perfect. You needed that much of Peter's life, that's him. That's what makes a Spiderman movie great. And besides, when we got to the plot twist I was honestly disappointed that we didn't get a serious villain. Of course Peter was struggling but for the viewer it was lackluster. And then the REAL fight started. Even now I'm absolutely amazed!

Apparently at the start of the movie Maria Hill calls Fury Nick, which was the first clue that they were Skrulls, since no one calls Fury Nick. When I found that out I was like: ''Maaaan how did I miss that!''

For me Far From Home is my favourite Spider-Man film. I loved everything about this film and I think its leagues better than Homecoming which I also loved. I was waiting for your guys review since the movie came out 👌🏽. Loved the entire conversation and agreed with pretty much everything you guys said but I personally never felt the first half dragged at all. Also my suggestion is that the villain in the third film will be Kraven. Now that his secret is out I think the set up is perfect. Jon Watts also said that’s his hope as well. Also hector I know you are excited but you got to let other people talk because you just keep jumping in, otherwise loved all the love for spidey could feel it coming through the screen. aaahhh this is easily my favorite ffh spoiler review that i’ve watched so far. you guys had such great thoughts on the movie and i laughed out loud at so many parts of the video lol. i really really liked far from home and this review made me love it even more

I saw this movie in IMAX 3D and man the Mysterio illusions were definitely MINDBLOWING, seriously one of my favorite MCU Films 👏🏼
