I think they will. Ain't now way Iger is seeing the hype of this stuff and not seeing dollar signs with spiderman 90's tv show. Especially since they are already working on a new Spider-Man TV show. If I was Iger. I would scrap the new Spider-Man cartoon. And invest it all in the spiderman 90's cartoon show and see that money come in until the next marvel movies come in and rake that money mine in as well.

Honestly, if Marvel made an animated version of the MCU in the X-Men 97 universe, with the tone of this revival, and continuing the characters established (Iron Man, Fantastic Four, even the cameos like Ghost Rider and styff like that) would be a huuuge deal

I would love to see a return for Spider-Man the Animated Series but it's him exploring the Multiverse trying to find Mary Jane and meeting other Spider-People that we know of like Spectacular, Amazing, Raimi and MCU then he goes home then Magneto's E.M.P. happens.
I’m pretty sure all the other cameos have scarlet spider in the other marvel shows from back then so this is our 2nd or first Peter Parker cameo I think
I haven’t seen either of these older shows of the x men or Spider-Man so I don’t have the nostalgia for them. I’ve seen more clips from the that version of Spider-Man so I would definitely watch the show if it came back.

If you were so insistent on not watching it on the day it aired you should've avoided the Internet until you watched it. The biggest thing is that the Spider-Man sequence confirmed what Magneto did. As Spider-Man swung around, you can see the building lights turn off. Magneto fucked up all of the Earth's electronics.
That's not the first that Spider-Man showed up in the X-Men animated series. They had a successful iconic crossover back in the Fox Kids era during with Peter Parker mutation. I don't think they going to bring the 90's Spider-Man animated series to Disney plus since they already have plans for a brand new series Spider-Man: Freshman Year...... What Disney need to bring back is Avengers: Earth Mightiest Hero animated series instead. By the way Cris how are you going to go in X-Men 97 without seeing the other seasons since its a continuation and have reference to past episodes😂 haha!

The best thing yall can do is cover your losses with this spiderman tv show and the miles morales spiderman animated movies and use the rest of your time with spiderman like this and give spiderman to disney when the time comes. I know this is a lolittle off topic but i want Donald Glover as an adult miles morales spiderman to pay off everything hes dobe for that character. Donald thinks ges too old to play spiderman but a quick cameo of him in deadpool of secret wars is much need in my opinion. I have a theory well see midnight son in the deadpool with wesley snipes blade, thomas jane punisher, a wolverine variant maybe played by someone else, maybe nic cage ghost rider, Donald glover as an older more hardcore spiderman and maybe the dark dr strange, maybe from what if?? Maybe that can set up a watcher cameo too 😅
Honestly, I'm still not a huge fan of X-Men '97s animation. I think they did the best they could with the hand drawn style of the 90s, but the digital duplication just looses a lot of detail. Still, I give them props for at least trying their best to keep it as close as they can. As for Spider-Man '98, I would absolutely lose it lmao. Watching it in the late 90s and the very early 2000s as a wee lad meant everything to me. It was my first exposure to Spider-Man before even the comics. I still think it's the best Spider Animated series. Spectacular Spider-Man is probably better objectively, but the animation of that show was a lil too simplistic for me. The 90s TAS had the perfect Comic Book vibe without it being overbearing. I would love to have it back as long as John Semper Jr. gets to come back as writer. But it may not happen. Spider-Man Freshman Year looks great. I really like the vintage comic book style. So they can only choose one show. Although I think they can divide the two shows. Keep Freshman Year for the young kids, and revive the 90s Series for the Mature audiences with deep character writing. Unlikely, to happen, since it would take them to spare budget for 2 separate Spidey Series' Let's not forget, the 90s series was constantly fighting for there budget, that is why they had to cleverly reuse animations.
That depends if friendly neighborhood Spider-man is good. The last spider-man animated series wasn't very good people didn't like it I didn't like it. The show got canceled after three seasons. The last good Spider-man animated series was spectacular Spider-man and that show got canceled. If friendly neighborhood Spider-man gets canceled and is just as bad as marvel Spider-man. Maybe Disney can consider doing Spider-man 98.
