@@rrbcraftergames3361lol shit taste The final swing of spider-man 2002 looks billion times better than this trash Keep enjoying your racist spider-man
the "normal" scenes and the swing scenes have such an anormal gap in quality that just speaks how nice the work by the vfx artists was. not only the cinematography, but the photography looks immensely better.
MJ : "Babe help me i got robbed" SM Lotus : "im sorry babe im chasing down tombstone right now" MJ : "But the robber is black" SM Lotus : "Hang on! Im on my way!"
CGI is crap. You can clearly tell when it’s CGI and when it’s real at least marvel understand that they there’s CGI scenes with GCI backgrounds at least look real.
@@shardsoftime0952 shocker was in the car without the mask, so they had to needlessly obscure him from the camera in that one clip btw this isn't really racist but it's just a hint
The fact that he barely swings but it’s supposed to be a spider man fan film is insane too me check the vid time barely anything meaning we got a minute and 21 seconds outa the two hour movie is INSANE!!!
In my opinion (for those of you who won’t leave me alone)the fact that this has the best swinging I've seen in a spider man live action movie. The fact that there is only a minute and a half of it in a 2 hour long movie is absolutely criminal.
I enjoyed the movie too! I get there’s a lot of controversy, and I get that it’s not gonna be 100% perfect, but that’s okay, a lot of people tend to forget that this is a FAN FILM, not a full on big budget blockbuster! 🤦♂️
@@chriscarrera1172 actually that one depends. i mean, im in college for art right now, and our number one thing to say is "its not about how good it is" If you are putting out a fan film for free, I dont think you should focus so much on your writing being perfect. if your writing has flaws thats good, that means you have areas to improve on. "there's no excuse for terrible writing" is actually a terrible thing to say to someone who is on their first shot of doing something. it was free, the person will learn from it, take what they learned, and the next project will have an entirely different set of flaws they will have to learn from thats how making stuff works in the real world. writing, art, music, none of that is an ability, its a skill. it grows with time on its own time. there is no instruction manual for that stuff. obviously if its something you have to pay to see, or a big studio is attached to it, yeah there is a level of quality you have to maintain, you shouldnt be in that position if you arent skilled enough to be. but that point is neither here nor there, i just wanted to solidify my stance on the other side of this.
@@Ivvelis Of course I’m not expecting a 10/10 masterpiece of writing, but the director promised an experience similar to Spider-Man 2, got the film crowdfunded by fans, and supposedly was very confident that Lotus was going to be the best Fan-Film ever made, something that no one will ever top, and I say supposedly because it’s kinda hard to tell what’s real or not with many fake screenshots floating out there along with real ones. With all that in mind, I at least expect the Film to actually have a plot instead of characters crying over the death of another character for 1.5 hours, I expect at least the most basic level of storytelling possible, but that’s not even present here. I know that it’s not easy writing screenplays and that it takes time to gain the skill, I’ve had my experiences with writing things and realizing many mistakes later on, but the bad writing is so painfully obvious and it doesn’t take a film critic to realize it. So, yes, I agree with you that you shouldn’t expect perfect writing, or anything for the matter, on someone’s first time, but I don’t really think it applies here, I would at least expect the writers to try to make somewhat of a cohesive story but it doesn’t feel like that, the director was clearly way to ambitious for what he was capable of and bit off more than he could chew. You shouldn’t make your dream film as your first project, it would’ve been better for the director to get the experience by making short films instead of spending all their time, effort and money on something just to see it fail.
If they made a second lotus where instead of it just being people crying bout everyone who died it, it could have more fights and swings it would be soooo good
Ah yes....the ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN (FAN) FILM where Spider-Man only does the thing he is best recognizable for only 1:21 of screen time. 🤣😂 "But it's a fan film. The budget". Don't bite off more than you can chew, kiddos.
Kinda blows my mind how many people are jumping to conclusions about the actor and director based on hearsay. James Gunn gets away with joking about r*ping kids but god forbid someone jokingly says “N*gga.” People are so damn backwards. 🤦🏻
@@D.The1st I saw the DM’s they got in trouble for, they were so mild and obviously jokes. 🙄 yet there’s tons of ppl who haven’t seen them that assume they’re literal nazis with no evidence other than reading several headlines claiming they’re racist. If anybody defends these guys, they’re condemned. But if they were to defend James Gunn it’s fine, because him saying r*ping kids is more acceptable than racial humor I guess. I f**ing hate the internet. (Srry for venting lol)
@@delgat000 I agree with you I mean gosh seeing them get canceled for stuff my friends say every day is crazy lol and dw about the venting part lol it's fine
I gotta be completely honest, the fan film is truly awful but the web swinging ain't bad and the affects are decent. It's surprising that it looks this good despite the entire VFX team dropping out because of the awful people involved.
I don't care for the guy being a 'racist', nor the director haha. But the movie from what I've heard seem to be like a bad drama and not so much Spidey or so.
