Hey what’s your thoughts on storing CRTs in a garage that gets pretty hot in the summer time - do you keep any of your backup CRTs in any storage or garage that’s not air conditioned? Any detriment to this?

I haven't noted any issues - I just moved a CRT to the basement a few months ago that spent about 2-3 years in my garage enduring Canadian winters and some hot summer days and I haven't noted any concerns. What I like to do, just like a refrigerator, is once I move it to its location I'll let it sit and acclimate to its new environment, let any gasses settle etc. May not make a difference but that's worked out thus far 😊

Do you recall the model number of that 32” Toshiba you mentioned for the basement set-up you were working on? Was it a 32AF series?

@@SvennyMcG wow that is one impressive set, just looked up the model. Whats nice about giant CRTs is that those are typically the free ones. There’s a free 35” Trinitron available on Offerup in my area but I need help to lift it and, well, I already have a 32” Apex and a 31” Sanyo as my two “30+” sets and they have an awesome picture. I cant wait to see some gameplay on the Toshiba. 😎👍💪

Hi! Sorry, this got buried. I think you wrote another comment similar but that went MIA too, not sure if YT filtered it somehow. Basement is still a work in progress haha but it's coming along, hopefully an update video before the year is out. I have indeed been pushing mostly shorts over the summer but new regular videos will be coming in the weeks ahead as schedules start to normalize :)
