I'm gonna have to disagree with you on Flash Thompson. The best one was In Amazing Spider-man. He comforted Peter when he lost his uncle. Showing there was more to him. Also, they showed that Flash was a fan of Spider-man even wearing a Spider-man t-shirt. So he wasn't just a bully.

I liked the Garfield movies. The second one has a bloated plot but Andrew is a great actor and holds it together for me.

In one of the Amazing Spider-Man movies there's a blink and you'll miss it moment where Peter gets a text from Jameson about some pictures he sent in. But that's the only reference to Peter working for the Bugle in those movies.

I feel like Andrews Spider-Man is the most comic accurate, but the most comic accurate Peter is Tobey

In MCU Spider-Man's defense, in the ultimate comics Peter didn't make the red and blue suit. It was given to him when he was wrestling and MJ was the one that repaired it and made him a new one. I think the MCU is paying homage to that but instead of getting it from wrestling, he gets it from Stark. Also in Far From Home he creates the upgraded suit in a similar way to the advanced suit in the PS4 game.

I agree that MCU Flash is more of a “of the times” bully, which I enjoy the different take and enjoy that he still has the element of harassing Peter but loving Spidey. I do hope he evolves with time tho to become closer to comic flash. Despite that, I do think Amazing Spider-Man had the best Flash

Here’s something funny to know: SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING was Spider-Man’s SECOND MCU appearance. And He fought vulture in the AMAZING SPIDER-MAN * #2 * And Doctor Octopus will be one of the villains in Spider-Man’s THIRD MCU movie and Doctor Octopus debuted in AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #3! see what I’m getting at?

I strongly disagree Benny the raimi Spiderman films are WAY better than the Andrew Garfield Spiderman films. Also Spiderman 3 is great venom looks greatand venom looks great in Spiderman 3 but that's just my opinion.

I think MCU Spider-Man is going to become more comic accurate as time moves on. I think Disney or Marvel have taken the criticism and I can't wait. Supposedly NWH will introduce the darker side of Spider-Man-- something we have yet to see in the MCU

I remember loving the second Spider-Man movie in the Sam Rami trilogy. I didn’t like the 3rd movie, mostly for how Peter treated MJ and acted so harsh when the black suit got on him. I know that’s what the symbiote is intended to do, but it just didn’t sit right to me as to how harsh Peter was. But hey, at least it brought us Bully Maguire

I enjoyed the Raimi films not only because I like Spiderman,but because they had that Darkman,Hercules/Xena and Army of Darkness feel to them(even down to appearances from Bruce Campbell,Lucy Lawless and Ted Raimi).

Naw Comic Spidey was waaaay funnier 🤣 I still remember the joke Ultimate Spidey hurled at Kingpin over 2 decades ago Ahem "Your highschool photo had to be taken from a helicopter" "When back up, people can hear a loud beeping sound" "If you were a truck you'd have a sign on you that reads 'Wide Load'." "When you cut yourself Marshmello fluff comes out." Etc... Granted I was 10 and this was my first time hearing a lot of these jokes 🤣 but still Comic Peter was a damn Savage! 🤣 And you couldn't hit the bastard!!! That's why I love him 🥰🥰🥰

Most spidey movies were shit. Peter is shown as an annoying spoiled brat. That was so annoying. Except Andrew Garfield IMO. Was better. But the Comics are so much better anyway

I wish they didn't go such a comedic route with MCU Spider-man. People forget that he can be a very serious character. I wish his secret identity reveals weren't made into jokes, feels weird that only now in the third film does his identity being revealed matter. Should have been set up properly.

Spiderman isn't very quippy in the mcu, he just makes observational comments and references to pop culture. Not funny or teasing, the dialogue he's given really doesn't add anything. And the fact that he's given everything, has to deal with 0 consequences or barely any struggles and movies are always about other parts of the mcu is what I hate about the mcu Spiderman. Adapting one more day is such a red flag to me for no way home on top of it. All I'm looking forward is seeing TASM and Raimi's SM.

I liked the parker industries arc. I felt it's a natural progression for Peter Parker, since he's a genius

If the Morlun rumors are true, I could see a post credit scene where Peter (tom) meets either Toby or Andrew who tells him they are being hunted, at the same time we see the other Peter (which ever one isn't talking) swinging through the city only to be attacked with the last scene being Morlun moving in for the kill

MCU Spider-Man is nowhere near comic accurate as the comics. Spider-Man is not supposed to be all about tech suits nor did he start of as a Toney Stark fanboy. But MCU fans want to be delusional and say that he is instead of simply pick up a comic book for once in their damn lives. MCU fans don't know a single thing about Spider-Man!

Spider-Man 616 was, is and always will be THE Spider-Man! No Maguire, no Garfield, no Holland, no 90s or 60s TV Show and no Miles Moralez will evr change that! He is the one in "The one and only"!

I feel like when people including myself say that MCU Spider-Man is comic accurate, they're only thinking of 616. No it pulls from multiple different Spider-Man comics, ultimate, marvel adventures, Spider-Man loves MJ, etc.

Plot twist: Spider-Man will die in No Way Home and they will introduce another variant of him just like they did with Loki....but in the Sonyverse! Same actor, and this time he's more accurate to the comics, basically a soft reboot: 1. The new variant comes close to Civil War Peter Parker personality but more mature and independent, basically the Spider-Man we all know and love....with few anger issues as well. Not to mention he's able to create his own stuff and other gadgets like Insomniac Spider-Man 2. Aunt May is a little much older and struggles with the money, she's also not a sexualized comedy relief character anymore 3. The Sonyverse Spider-Man already experienced the same events as the MCU version (kinda) and fought Vulture + Mysterio but in different ways and more badass, for example (Peter savagely ripping off Vulture's wings and showing him mercy in Homecoming, Mysterio never revealed Peter's secret identity to the whole world but instead Peter is the one who did it to Mysterio, eventually exposing his crimes to the police. Beck became so obsessed towards Peter to the point he developed a personal vendetta against Spider-Man, and all of that happened in New York instead of London) 4. Ned is Miles Morales's friend and is replaced by Mary Jane, the relationship between Peter and Mary Jane is different than any live action version we ever saw so far and comes closer to the Ultimate comics, they're not a couple at first, they're best friends, but then with more character development as time passes they will become one eventually 5. Peter goes to the college instead of high school and he finally has relatable problems such as trying to not fail his grades, paying rent and other things 6. Flash Thompson is not played by Tony Revolori and he's way more comic accurate, but this time the main focus of the character is his struggle with his abusive father and conflict about joining the military or not....and bullying Peter 7. Harry Osborn exists and he's played by Timothée Chalamet, and of course he's Peter best friend 8. Norman Osborn is played by Matthew McConaughey and he's some sort of father figure for Peter, but it's the inverse of Tony Stark and Peter is not a total Elon Musk simp esque like the MCU version 9. Spider-Man operates in New York to fight crime similar to the Daredevil show and it's way more serious, he doesn't stop stupid bike stealers or has fun playing with his webs, he fights the Mafia, rapists, drug dealers, and saves kids stolen from their families by criminals, sometimes he also ends up fighting super powered beings obviously, and people like Kingpin as well 10. Tony Stark and the Avengers doesn't exist in the Sonyverse but it's possible that the new Spider-Man variant will come to the MCU in future events. And that's all, this is just an idea of what could happen, but i'm pretty sure Sony and Marvel will never do something like this probably.

I think both Spider-Man movies and comics have one thing in common and that's they refuse to let peter parker grow up and become adult which is just frustrating and sad on so many levels that it ain't even funny.

Hey Andy, not sure if these count but: -Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy from Batman and Robin (locked away in Arkham) -Riddler from Batman Forever (locked away in Arkham) -Joker from The Dark Knight (rip Heath Ledger)..but the Joker character survived -Dr Doom from Fantastic Four (the fun ones), although Doom was dropped in the ocean in 2, so unsure if he died or not Either way, love these videos!

Does anyone else feel that the Marc Webb Amazing Spider-man films feel more like if DC tried to make a Spider-man film? Garfield and Stone are great in it and Ifans and Fox play their rolls well, but it doesn't work as well as it could do.

These specific videos, and the community, that comes with them. If not for these 4 blessings I honestly don't think I'd be alive today. The worst time for me is 2am - 5am Being violently awoken from fragments of memory into a Hellscape of terror, PAIN, and by FAR the worst, GUILT for being the one who made it home. EVERY SINGLE NIGHT for the last 8 yrs doing my best to stifle my tears and noise so as not to awaken my Daughter or cause her to worry. After meetings, counseling, a veritable parade of medications and a list of other attempts that was seemingly as endless as it was ineffective, I found this channel as well as the content and community that accompanied it. I'm going to refrain from attempting to articulate exactly how or in what ways you all have provided a.. "Spiritual balm" that lifts me up.
