@@unclejoe3747 i legit think that's what it is they were laughing about, like the ffh press tour is known for the tension between tom and z and jacob probably witness it too after the breakup so they probably were laughing at whatever they knew happened behind the scenes on that press tour
@James Walker yeah, it was also back then buddy. Kids will fear for Spider-Man now as much as any of you and I did for the og movies. Also, Skeleton cgi are literally laughable. Don’t act as if that movie was some of 16-18 type of shit
@@danielz-v4083 The skeletons weren't brutal. The final fight was. The grenade to the face, basically every hit Peter took from Green Goblin, they were all so visceral. It felt very real. It felt very real compared to the fights now. I like the MCU a lot, but the Raimi trilogy was something special.
I really liked this, proper impressed with the interviewer here. This was a really unique and interesting approach at getting some insight into the whole Tobey + Andrew thing. Instead of straight up asking "are they in the movie" and having them deny it over and over, just like EVERY other interviewer has done esp with Andrew, this interviewer just fully shows a clip of Tom kinda giving it away in the past and says "what's up with that then?", if I was any of the actors in this interview that clip / way of questioning would have really thrown me. Ik I'm basically writing a whole essay here but man I proper appreciate the approach. In the cast trailer reaction video where T,Z+J watch the second trailer for the first time, Tom says something like "wait where's the-" then stops himself. Then you see him paying proper close attention, and we all know what he's looking for... they should do the same thing in a future interview lmao. Play that clip of Tom where he stops himself whilst watching the trailer + just be like "So Tom, what's up with that?". Genius interviewing, bravo. EDIT: Holy shit they actually asked him about the trailer reaction "where is the-" already...
It was not at all what you think. The first time Tom was asked this question, he thought dirty things and smiled. And that's why Zendaya and Jacob laughed at it.
Nah i don’t think they expected that question and totally improvised that part, i mean they’re actors they clearly tried to play it off with laughing and pretending they were acting weird because of something else… but we all know why they acted weird when he asked that question lol
@@aliu67 It could not be about the question at all tho, it could just be a coincidence that whatever inside thing they know/were thinking about was occurring at the same time the question was being asked. For instance the relationship between zendaya and Tom which was secret at the time could’ve contributed to the body language in someway or it could be some other unrelated inside joke
It is an inside joke. They've commented on that press day of the old interview clip before: they used to play a game where they would take it in turns to ignore the questions but not tell the interviewer.

This interview has come full circle! I remember watching the far from home interview and I was one of the first in the comments section to point out Tom's reaction on being asked about the multiverse. And after watching this, I know that they definitely spoke about the question after the interview. This live action Spiderverse speculation has been going on for more than a year now and I'm glad that the speculation will soon end. This movie already looks promising and I can't wait for the return of Tobey and Andrew as well. Thanks for this interview Jake.
@Error Report i think it was about tom and z... they had just broken up during ffh press but had to promote the movie together... there was some tension if you look back at those interviews
it's good to know that Tom agrees about the injuries adding stakes, like I hope we get more of that in the next trilogy and he doesn't use a stark suit
Honestly I think I would be likely to take them at their word that it had nothing to do with what he was asking. Watching Tom and Zendaya’s body language reacting, I think it had to do with them and what was going on between them at the time.
They've commented on that press day of the old interview clip before: they used to play a game where they would rather it in turns to ignore the questions but not tell the interviewer. THAT'S why tom is being weird
1:35 : I personally think that in the interview 2 years ago there was something going on between zendaya and tom and that’s why they both reacted like this. just look at their body language ! I really love them !!!
They've commented on that press day of the old interview clip before: they used to play a game where they would rather it in turns to ignore the questions but not tell the interviewer. But tomdaya did used to stare at each other a lot in those interviews too!
@@caseemsexton2415 far from it. He’s said in so many interviews he wants to share the screen with them and he wants to mentor miles one day. That’s just your poor judgement.
LOL now seeing their reaction to that clip from the ffh press junket, I think it's super obvious they were laughing at some behind the scenes stuff that affected how they were acting that day. I legit think it had to do with tom and z being a bit annoyed with each other, that was around the time they broke up in private, and they were obligated to do press so had to keep up the same banter they are known for, watching old interviews it's kinda noticeable the energy is off and they act a bit more sarcastic with each other. so that's why z looked at him and said "it was a different time" bc that was a turbulent period
"it was a different time" I think what was maybe happening was that this was during the time of the talks of the sony-marvel split, and that's why it was awkward in their body language. either way I feel like this question would've been better saved for AFTER the movie came out but I guess now we can get them to react to them reacting to themselves at some point
Toms silent in the clip bc they've commented on that press day of the old interview clip before: they used to play a game where they would rather it in turns to ignore the questions but not tell the interviewer.
@@TOMHOLLANDARCHIVE yeah lmao, where they would elbow the person who had to do it. i think it's pretty obvious they were super burnt out during that time so they came up with novelties to keep it engaging, that's why they all laughed
The way when the Interviewer ( He did a Great job by the way, fantastic questions ) asked " what is the thing that sucks most about being tom holland or being associated with Tom holland" and Jacob and Zendaya said the kindest things about him!!! 😰🥺💕 Especially how Zendaya really wanted him to know how wonderful and talented he is. Like even, just the little things 3:42 4:00 when Zendaya held his back and just comforted him when he started answering the question about "what sucks about Tom holland" just letting him know that he's so Great! I love there relationship and how they care for each other!!!🥺🦋💖 And sending my Love to Jacob, because he's Fantastic, and so funny and sweet, I love this Trio so much!
Okay but Zendaya trying to watch that clip is literally me for everything 😂😂😂 I’m just like nah I can’t see that far 😂🥲 Edit: OMG! Over 100 likes in 2 hours! Thank you! 🥰
"what I love about Andrew's movies(silence for few seconds)" Andrew in the background: HOW DARE ME!? HOW DARE YOU! "What I love about Tobey's movies..." Tobey: they love me
"what is the thing that sucks the most about being associated with Tom Holland?" am I the only one who immediately thought about Anthony Mackie and how he would say something about Tom's two assistants and juice boxes? 😂😂
Andrew was pretty much like Tobey he got his Suit torn up he fought Villians That Hated him for what he did too them He's Love with Gwen stacy Andrew had some good parts as Spiderman and also he did a really good job as Spiderman
