Dafoe and Molina were so far ahead of everyone else in the movie, acting-wise, that it was actually jarring. You all have to realize that there are actors like Tom and Zendaya that are hired for their looks and popularity, and there are people like Defoe that are hired bc they can act.

Come on, Tom has always been an upbeat guy, but he has seemed to be floating on a cloud in all of his press junket appearances since he first met her. I think that's pretty safe to take as an indicator that the Zendussy is absolutely magical.
