I don't think the game tried to even make any suspense about who were the main villains because anybody who knows Doc Ock can realize that he isn't reformed so I guess they only wanted to show the story from Spidey's perspective
11:00 Peter did hear her say it. In the N64 version (which uses static images with subtitles at the bottom instead of cutscenes), Peter has an extra line of dialogue where he says that he'll track down Black Cat's kidnappers as soon as he can. I assume this dialogue was originally going to be in the game, but was cut.
14:12 Based on Peter's knowledge of technology and other things, I think Spidey probably planned on doing some hacking and spying to find out some criminal plans, hopefully leading to the culprit.
I think you're forgetting the Kassidy was left in a collapsing, underwater base while the Carnage symbiote also was left behind in the same base, so it's safe to assume that both ended up dead. At least Kassidy died while it's possible the symbiote survived somehow.
Made it through and got ya onto 20 likes well done review, wouldn't had done it any different. Only besides the comedy to Venom I feel that part of him has always been there hidden in the comics and the new venom movie done it well I feel
I just got my hands on a copy of Spider-man 2000 on ps1 and loved it as a kid myself and since it was a game I remembered every single level off by heart I gave a speedrun of this game a go and got 56m 48s which is pretty good considering the fastest speed run on ps1 was 41mins by Bonesaw Quick to mention I did my speedrun without level skipping glitches The venom segment on you saying turning Venom in to a comedy releif aint so bad as comically he has always been that way, is why I thought they did a really good job with the Venom movie that not long came out.. Because it is still two sides of a person brock and the symbiote
Further into the review now... The web dome trick on the train ride is one of the techniques I use in the speedrun hahahahahaha I position myself in the very middle of the train cause there's the looped web cartridge that never lets me go below 10 hahaha
awesome.. I got myself a 60GB backwards compatible PS3 the other week and one of the games on my most wanted list was this.. I'm so glad someone has put the effort in to talk about this game for 40+ mins, I completed it for the first time yesterday but, getting to experience this game all over again was truly amazing, 100% recommend!
This was an amazing title. It's crazy looking at this game with a foggy NYC after what happened this passed week with the real NYC getting the smoke from a Canadian fire. Looked like the set of Blade Runner. That's where I live

Oh my goodness I didn't know about the tony hawk thing with the billboard or even that he was a playable character in the tony hawks games, so far better review then most other reviews on this game

i didnt have as much exposure to spiderman as a kid so a lot of the obvious stuff came as amazing reveals to me. this game was sorta like my own Animated Series
Want to see something funny? When starting a new game and entering your name try putting in profanity. When you press the X button Spiderman punches the words away and you have to re-enter. I did this for a while just for laughs at the animation. Lol 'Spiderp***y' BAM!
Ikd. I mean this game came out when “games were for kids.” Much like Sonic Adventure 2, over analyzing it is like over analyzing the lore in Blues Clues. 😂 Idk, it reminds me of how people call Ocarina of Time Trash because its 2022 now. I mean, maybe they have a point, but the games over 25 years old. Was it supposed to compete with Red Dead 2 or Smash Bros Ultimate?
