I really like what they're doing with JJJ in this series, it's like the best kind of payback + redemption for trashing spiderman for years

This book gets it right. When he tries his ass off he can beat so many upper level heroes. He is only street level because no crime is too small for him. He fights whatever villain comes his way, and is so freaking deadly when he wants to be

Peter with a beard looks like a badass And this series reminds me of the Web of shadows video games

Finally, it's nice to see Peter admit that the Symbiote isn't inherently evil, it's just influenced by him. I love Spiderman, and he's a great hero because of his struggles, but those struggles do take a toll on his mental state sometimes.

WHAT A STORY! I'm enjoying this so much! I love how accurate this comic is when a SERIOUS Spider-Man fights opponents! No jokes, all punches and skill! Not to mention that speech MJ gave him about not being perfect but still being and doing good. Loved it! Gonna be sad when this comes to an end...

The symbiote taking over the Baxter building reminds me of the Web of Shadows game from back in the day.

It be nice if there was a universe where Peter learns that you gotta end the threat sometimes and it's okay. Just because you end someone doesn't make you evil, it's necessary sometimes

you know one of my favourite things about these what-if comics that come out nowadays is that some of these what-if things are that they take place in the 80s 70s or 90s and if other heroes are in these comics we get to see the heroes wearing their costumes from that era or we get to see what changes they've to the Avengers roster during the era

Chip Zdarsky is bloody natural at writing street levelers like Spider-Man and Daredevil. This felt classic, fresh and fun. It felt like home.

How does Reed Richards get influenced so quickly. Peter still had a conscience, but Reed seems to be a completely different person.

I was honestly expecting this to end with Spider-Man becoming a Villain like Injustice Superman I wasn't expecting the Symbiote to be forcibly removed from Spider-Man and then deal with a Symbiote infected Mr Fantastic and Symbiote infected averagers

This would honestly make such a good live-action solo series or animated series. I love it so much.

I'm getting major Web of Shadows vibes and I love it.

Peter Parker's character has the depth, history and the weight of responsibility crushing him. He has to keep crime in check while worrying about his next meal. Such a story can be possible with ONLY him as no other spider verse character carries the emotional weight riding on him. (Fav character ever btw).

I guess its too much to expect a spin off where peter and the symbiote actually manage to stay together while not massively fucking up the continuity ,kinda like how eddie and symbiote managed to, but in peters case, they end up cracking dark jokes aswell as his usual quips~ . We could see their banter as symbiote learns to adapt with peter despite his lack of bloodlust. Peter being strong in character(as we have come to know through the ages) won't fall to the dark ramblings of the symbiote so easily and they both grow as a duo. Peter isn't as naive as some may have perceived him to be, he becomes more badass while the symbiote understands that it doesn't have to erase and replace a species for its survival. Peter tames the symbiote and with this we can have a much more varied and interesting world which isn't all sunshine and rainbows(as its been made so kids can enjoy), a darker story like this but still has continuity with the usual discussions over morality ,how the world isn't just black & white but grey aswell. And we can finally see spiderman and blackcat's ship sail P.s. checkout Spider-Man: Web of Shadows game,it has a storyline where we get to embody the Symbiote Spider.

Can you do history of Doc Octopus, Rhino, Sandman, Electro, Kraven the Hunter, Chameleon, Scorpion and the Human Fly along with Morbius. Also can you do the history of the Flash Villains like Turtle, Magenta, Cobalt Blue, Mirror Master and Top?

Weird to see Venom "infecting" everyone since I never seen it before. Thought it was a pretty bad because it just made everyone turn evil and not making it special for spidey, but we'll see maybe im wrong

Man what an ending. On both issues. They didn't quit. So far this is a better take on an evil Spiderman than the Spider Punisher story. That comic book Peter was practically a sociopath. In this book his attitude and behavior seems more complicated.
