Unfortunately it got cancelled because the company went bankrupt. But some elements of web of shadows went to "spiderman SD" too bad since I was really hoping for a sequel too! I'm having all my hopes on "spidermanPS4"

I seen this trailer back in 2008. 12 years ago I was so shock when Wolverine got into venom! When I was teenager at age 17! I shouting was "WHOA! NO WAY!!!".
It would be so cool if this game was remastered for the 8th-generation consoles and it gave us a whole bunch of gameplay improvements. The following features would be: -native 1080p -60fps -New Game Plus -playable outfits for both the red and blue suit and the symbiote suit -achievement/trophy tracking -mission select -replayable boss fights -bonus content like concept art, character figurines, and etc -and etc
Yes you can if you are done with the game watch the credits dont skip it then when you are back at the menu hit continue not new game then watch the credits again dont skip then back to menu hit continue again and the should restart the storry with all your ubgrades
The edgiest, rushed, most underappreciated Spider Man game of all time. This game didn't get a sequel because people thought the "black suit doesn't work" because of the disaster that was Spider Man 3. They also rushed it because they knew that they were getting rid of Shaba Games and make them make this game in less than a year. I still think this is the best Spider Man game off all time and I doubt we will ever get a Spider Man game with such a good story and such good mechanics.
It's definitely better than Arkham Knight. With all the criminals in Gotham, I didn't care. There weren't any civilians to save. In this game, there's civilians, police officers, and SHIELD agents to save. It was just fun to fight bad guys AND save people in such epic ways.
The story was absolutely bonkers. If you like an over-the-top, nonstop balls to the walls kind of story, you’ll like Spider-Man Web of Shadows’s story. But don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love this game, even if the story was nonsensical.
Go figure that for this new Spidey title Activision hands over developmental duties to Shaba Games (who's majority of work have been extreme sports titles like Matt Hoffman's Pro BMX, Tony Hawks Underground 2 Remix, Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3, Razor Freestyle Scooter, etc, though they also did the heroes and villains DLC pack for Marvel Ultimate Alliance). Very surprisingly Shaba turns in a great Spider-Man game (except for the RIDICULOUSLY repetitive side missions), while also having the best combat system in ANY Spider-Man game EVER, and how does Activision reward them? Oh right...they shut them down. I would have really like to see what Shaba Games would have done if given the chance to do another Spider-Man game.

@@TVREdits Yeah I read about that. Spidey and Wolverine were going to be playable characters and it was going to be a team up of Mysterio & Carnage. Damn shame.
i cant believe this game is a just a unique masterpiece i played all along from when i was 8-9 years old till' now, and i still have it on my computer.

Omg why did they cancel the sequeal!? This game was awesome with the awesome 6 headed symbiotic fight at the end and The bad ending and the good ending I mean Just think about what they could of done with carnage I am disappointed I literally played this game since I was 5 years old and beat it like a million times and it is disappointing to hear that they are canceling the sequeal I mean come on activision fans wanna see spiderman games like this when you can roam around the city and be either a bad spiderman or a good spiderman those 2 things were the stuff that made the game special out of all of them and the third best thing was there was wolverine black widow black cat vulture AND MOONKNIGHT and the kingpin!!! And Rhini and all of that cool stuff that is the kind of game we want activision
After peter fought octo in his symbiote suite he found his old outfit in the graveyard of MJ and put it. Then went to the main building, that set up a giant peremeter around the city to keep anyone from outside intereferring. ppl didn't know that Venom had took the form of like some wealthy businessman and was running the city, waiting for peter to come. So peter dukes it out with him and hundreds of other symbiotes and baddies and then you think peter kills himself so he could be with MJ

@kellykellyK2Fan In my opinion this game is fun. In this game you have the free-roam ability. While Shattered Dimensions and Edge Of Time don't. I haven't played Edge Of Time, but Shattered Dimensions is a fun experience. You should research the games and check the reviews for more details. Also, their is a new Spider-Man game coming out in the summer. It is called The Amazing Spider-Man and it continues the story of the new movie that is coming out this summer. Use this and decide for yourself.
James McAvoy is becoming one of the most popular actors in the world... he is very talented, he can see him in movies like "The last king of Scotland", "Atonement" or "Wanted"... If you'll watch "Wanted", I think you'll agree with me that he woulb be a perfect Peter Parker.
I agree with you, not only was the gameplay great, the good or evil thing was well done, except for the part about just fighting while wearing a suit changed your alignment, it added a lot of replayability. The only thing I don't like is that the Black suit is killed in the good ending, and since when Peter wears a symbiote is the closest he ever gets to evil, meaning that it's death is the end of hope of another good-or-evil game. Besides, Hybrid and Toxin anyone? Not all symbiotes are evil.
Yeah, the Symbiote Wolverine batte, just had to take the evil choice on that one to keep the evil story going. It was hard to do since I bought this game for Wolverine, now I was just gonna tear him in half. :(

No its one of those special one time issues. Hard cover, promo cover, wrapped in plastic. So you'd probably have to order it or go to eh bookstore. I only got to read it, cus someone had torn it open at the bookstore lol
actually this game used prototypes concept this had only really started working on this in 2007 while prototype was first started on in 2005 with the same concept
I agree... I think that Tobey made too nerdy for my taste. And anyone who reads Spidey's stories just knows that Peter isn't like that AT ALL... he was in the first issues, but by the time Stan Lee and John Romita were doing the stories, he changed a lot... since today
But after the explosion it jumps to a bar area getting held up at gun point. THen you see a line of webbing being shot and ties up the bad guy. Peter says "Sorry Mj I'll be their soon, But until then I got work to do" He was like the only hero left, Hereos were no longer able to exist(a law passed by Venom). And then after like 40 years of no hereos Spider man comes back and kicks..it was good, kinda depressing too though lol
