Watching your video on Spider Man here because my son got me a DS-LITE I have a few of them but not working at the moment . I played all these games many years ago when I was younger I'm 64 now but forgot some of the move's so I'm watching other people's videos on all the Spider Man game's but trying to keep up with your playing abilities - damn myfriend your great at playing I couldn't keep up with your playing . I really appreciate and enjoyed watching your videos thanks for sharing them it did help by reminding of some of it 👍✌️🕹️🎮
Thanks im glad you enjoyed it. Note that this speedrun is a Tool Assisted Speedrun, meaning special tools were made to create movements, glitches and techniques. So most of the movements may not be possible for a real time speedrunner, but can serve as a guide to what perfection might be.
dunno if anyone is gonna see this but if you beat venom on that symbiote plant and let their dialouge finish, destroy it and venom is set free and invincible against you but he CAN hurt you instead so its a nice glitch i used to do years ago
@cakemaphoneige sure thing! There's also a glitch where you can trigger venom's animation at the sewers where you meet him at the first time in the acutal game and that's how it works: Right after you defeat the 2nd super symbiote and went up to the vent, jump gently up to the little edge where you are gonna pull the 2nd obstacle where venom is on to, you can land on the tiny edge before you trigger it's Animation where spidey says "Venom! Venom hey, come back!" If you managed that, pull both obstacles off (the wooden Box and the huge one back to back) then you'll hear venom dropping on his feet and running towards you but (he can't reach you since there's a wall between you two. So yeah, that's the other glitch I also used to do! Anyways, good work, really enjoyed the TAS. Keep it up!!
@nonnopepe sure I'll try, so basically when you meet venom at the Boss fight, he Lands right on a sort of symbiote-plant which you can destroy yourself in general just like objectives that give you health. So when you enter the room, prevent venom from landing ON this plant (example youtube Video at 14:02 it's a perfect example. After you did, beat him up (almost) then you finish him in the air and if he dies (whilst you hit him in the air) make sure he lands on the plant I mentioned earlier. After you made that, destroy the plant venom is sitting on After his defeat and boom he's invincible and you can't touch him but he CAN hurt you instead Hope it was clear enough, it's quite hard to explain
