I'm still in awe as to how well this one clip of a british guy in 2022 lined up with hobie so well, especially with the "land on the van like a proper spider man." Pure poetry.
@@_Cetarial none of the notable characters in the movie were created for it. spider man india? comic, though the movie version is better IMO. miguel? future of 2099. gwen? spider gwen. punk? spider punk comic. the emo spider scarlet? clone arc (yikes). jessica drew (the pregnant woman)? spider woman, though she's notably different in the comics.
I love how Spider-Punk's ever-changing art style is consistent with almost every fan animation I've seen regardless of how much effort is being put into it
@@BuckShot456789 there is order in chaos and chaos in order, all things contradict and contrast, pull and push. action, reaction reaction to reaction and inaction caused by action, this makes no sense and makes absolute sense.
I'm still in disbelief everytime I realize that spiderpunk didn't say one "fock" in the entire movie. He's so exceptionally British that it just doesn't seem possible.
@@dyngle2926 Maybe the manager was a fascist who didn't give Hobie the chips as a political thing, like he refused to serve him so BANG, on the floor, red nose--
What people mistake the moral of Spider Punk for: "wow it's a good comedy-based character with good writing!" What the moral actually is: all british people have superpowers
You perfectly recreated the different artstyles used for the four Spiders (Gwen and Miles have that "comic-shading" effect). Talking about the movie, I appreciate how Hobart was animated like the embodiment of the "70's punk aesthetic" (journals, posters, albums, etc.)
@@creaturedanaaaaa You're right, dadaism is truly fascinating. As many other artistic movements of early XXth century, at first it looks weird but once you you get used to the multiple different styles it's really captivating to look at, especially once you know their impact and legacy.
I loved when Hobie said ‘I haven’t got a Scooby Doo’ because my mum’s from South London and says that all the time. Well, she doesn’t say ‘Doo’. Just ‘Scooby’ But I still love the accuracy.
I would 100% believe it if this was live footage of Spider-Punk in Great Britain. Also my god your visuals actually nail the Spiderverse style so well :D
Impressive how this is not only the best representative of the least strange day in Britain but also the most accurate adaptation of a Spider-Punk Comic
@@aidanbarker-dean4272 Can confirm, the moment I exit the boundaries of Manchester the nearest actual city is speaking a radically different accent and I can't understand shit
Transalation: I've got the manager by the scruff of it innit I've gone "GIMME THE FUCKING CHIPS!!!" BANG! The manager is on the floor, red-nosed, fucking knocked out in the cold. Security's come over, they've gone "FO0OSH" BANG!!! Three of em all knocked out. Riot Police come in. All of it fucking that is! "GET YER HANDS UP IN THE AIR!!!" Backflipped off of all the bullets! Landed on a van like a proper Spiderman. I've picked the van up by the top, threw the van across the motorway. The ARMY COME IN! Tanks! The Tanks! "BOOM!!!" Shoes. I jump ON the missile, glide o- *explosion*
As a British resident, i can confirm this is accurate representation of how we deal with her problems... Untold violence, unhealthy stubborness and significant inconvenience...
this is so fucking awesome oh my god. you mastered the spider-punk stylisation so damn well and this feels so accurate to him!!! i love the extreme arrows and circling of the tank too!!! 10/10
Lyrics: I’ve got the manager by the scruff of the neck I’ve gone “give me the focking chips!” *BANG* The managers on the floor Red nose Focking knocked out in the cold Security’s come over I’ve gone *DOOSH* *BANG* Three of them all knocked out Riot police come in All of them focking like this “Get your hands up in the air!” Back flipped over all the bullets Landed on the van, like a proper Spider-Man I’ve picked the van up by the top Threw the van across the motorway The army come in With tanks The tanks *BOOM* (shoots) I jump on the missile, glide home- **explosion**
Fun fact he was made British in the movie as a reference to his creation where he was the original design for the British Spider-Man, but his design was to aggressive looking so they made him a 17 year old punk artist from Brooklyn instead!
Somehow, This makes me feel like this would be canon to Spider Punk, himself, considering the fact he murdered Norman with a guitar and his personality is somewhat like that, which I like
