I'm so glad you uploaded this. I was feeling nostalgic and was wondering if there were any videos on him. Here we are! Only one I could find!!! He invited me to dance at Sideshow By The Seashore. So I did a sword routine. The weather was really bad and no one showed up, really. LOL! But we had so much fun! He gave me one of his books and signed it for me. I should have stayed in touch and gotten a tattoo by him. A picture of us ended up in Skin & Ink magazine. Very cool!!! Thank you so much, again, for this upload.
Spider appeared on 'The Underground Tonight Show', November 1976, a NY public access cable TV program... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Ks16rGauZ1o.html
He gave me my first tattoo. had to wait forever for him to get the free time to fit me in. when he had a shop in Bridgeport Connecticut at Captain's Cove.he gave my aunt her first tattoo when he had his shop in Derby Connecticut.
Wen I first started tattooing in the late 80s spider Webb was big wen the first tattoo mags started coming out we owe a lot to this man he fought for the right for all tattoo artists to tattoo instead of being underground a great man one of the most influential people in the tattoo world spider Webb deserves much respect a very good man I wonder I remember spider Webb and the Steve binge band I believe he played a guitar made out of a crutch along the time he tattooed with a rose thorn I believe at the art gallery in nyc if I remember correctly it’s been a lot of years I read that article any way I have a whole lot of respect for this man as to what he has done in the tattoo art world respect from Canada
This is a long shot but I grew up with Spider Webbs children and I have been trying to track down Katie (as I knew her then) and Joey probably goes by Joe now. I knew Patty and Tecla but they were younger than me. Any chance you could help me out?? Thanks!
