@@viczilla24dreamer51 dude ran into a gas line and took the explosion like it was nothing Would be been better to fly him above water since if he got out he would drown rather than cause a rampage
This boss fight was awesome, not just for the combat but it also does a pretty good job of cementing Rhino as one of spider-man’s most underrated and deadly villains, anyone who’s read some of his comics knows how powerful the guy really is.
Bro fr! like i understand why he's never been a main villain in a movie (i mean he's kinda boring lowkey) but every time he does show up he's treated like a punk bitch so i'm glad he got this one
Spiderman: Fights Rhino and Scorpion while injured: Super easy, barely an inconvenience. Fights Rhino alone at full health with the help of Miles: IM NOT GONNA MAKE IT
There’s at least four reasons I could use to refute this. One: Rhino and Scorpion were too busy fighting each other like an old married couple. They weren’t cooperating with each other as a team and instead disagreed on everything even if it risked Spider-Man winning, which eventually he did. Two: in the comics and other media Rhino’s like the toughest guy Spider-Man has faced due to his strength and size, in spectacular Spider-Man there were moments where he almost died to Rhino in that. Three: the boss fight in the PS4 fight is actually quite difficult, you still get hit a few times if you aren’t careful in it. Four: Rhino and Spidey have been at this for like eighteen years, you’d think after losing to someone like that for so long that Rhino might have learnt a few things about Spider-Man that makes him predictable, Rhino’s far from dumb so I’d say that he’s learnt to adapt and use Spidey’s weaknesses against him, I mean you actively see glimpses of the fight during your fighting and you can see that both are doing a pretty good job of messing the other up as well.
The only reason is they need to show miles as main character of this game that's y they decided to injure Peter otherwise it's going to be peters game tbh
Well in the first game he fought them in a construction yard FULL of large things to hurt Rhino with. Here he was just running through the city causing chaos so it's harder to get him down. This is obviously meant to show Miles power as Spider-Man but it still makes sense
Y'know, the main reason I wanted to watch Amazing Spider-Man 2 was to see him fight Rhino (I'm a sucker for good David vs Goliath type battles), and was royally pissed to see he was barely on screen for 5 minutes. This almost makes up for it.
Hell naw! That Rhino armor looked like one of them shitty fighting robots James Cameron used in Avatar. And Paul Giamatti. I love that actor. But his acting in that film was fuckin' terrible. Couldn't understand the fuck he was saying "66-SANDWHICH" I'm glad that movie got cancelled
The amazing Spider-Man 2 set both Rhino and Electro back in terms of the big screen 😭😭 I hope for them to be in a movie again soon, their way too good of villains to not be in a LEGIT movie
Man Insomniac is killing it with the boss battles in these games, they made Rhino feel like ''big threat'' this time around.. and the scariest part is how they showcase how powerful and destructive he is during the chase sequence throughout New York. If wasn't for miles, peter would've been dead already
@@GOldenPROdigy115 Rhino relative to both of those characters in power, so that wouldn't matter. The only reason Miles had the upper hand was because of Venom, which works the same on *everyone*. Rhino was originally made to be a rival for Hulk. Spider-Man beating him all those times just shows how strong, intelligent, and experienced he is, since he's out punched hulk on my occasions, too. In all honesty, though... Peter has a slight fear of Rhino that he doesn't have for other villains. This is an example as to why that is.
@@thearchitectofthehounds9815 Quick delete your comment. You still have time! You did not just equate rhino with juggernaut and hulk. Hurry before the true hardcore fanboys arrive!
@@GOldenPROdigy115 But, he is lmao. You're right, the fanboys will be pissed to all hell, but he was *made* to be a hulk rival, but he was turned into a Spidey villain, and that's all he's known for now. Thanks for the chance to bail, but I'd rather just let the hulk fanboys come lmao.
Anybody get the old school PlayStation Spider man vibe when miles starts fighting him around the electric conduits. Insomniac I appreciate you being there for my adulthood and my childhood
Not gonna lie..holland's performance of the character is very nice and feels like the peter parker of the comics-chit chat during battle trying to tell jokes. Yet i find myself more relatable to sam raimi trilogy
Lol what!? MOST to ALL Spider-Man have FANTASTIC quips that Spider-Man has, no idea on what you’re talking about “mAjoRiTy oF tHe SpiDerMaN mOvIeS fAIl aT fOr sOMe rEaSOn” lol that’s just nonsense because that’s 100% not true as Peter/Spider-Man has been saying MANY pretty good to great quips from the first live action Spider-Man movie, from the Amazing Spider-Man movies, to MCU Spider-Man movies all the way even from Spider-Man’s introduction from Civil War to No Way Home. Just stop as you’re just not paying attention to how well done the Spider-Man quips are done in live action are for you to be acting like the games quips are “acTuAlLy sO gOoD” in comparison to the movies as they’re ALL so good if you actually bothered to pay attention to at all, just stop because you’re completely wrong there as ALL the quips are fantastically well done and delivered and don’t at all “fAiL” if you actually hear them out!
@@laundrybaskets4473 LOL Are you for real? He didn't "pISsEd oFf" anyone other than completely BAFFLE me with his utter nonsense here from the WRONG nonsense that's been said ABOUT what's going on in the MCU, nothing more. You truly are completely out of this for not getting this at all as your snarky reply REALLY highlights on how little you really know.

Fun fact: in the comics, miles proves himself to captain America by helping take out rhino, similar to how he proves to Peter that he’s ready to be Spider-Man here.
I just love everything about this sequence, watching the Spider Men multitask saving citizens whilst chasing Rhino to subdue him was awesome. Insomniac were the perfect choice for working on a Spider Man game.
3:00 The secret identity is important in every Superhero Miles yelling in front of inmates: "Can´t let Pete Down" Prisoner that stuck to the wall: "Wait... wut?"
Spider-Man PS4 Miles: *Runs from Rhino* Rhino: It is chase of goose, I hate chase of goose! Spider-Man Miles Morales Miles: The chase was like a wild... Chase of goose Rhino: I HATE CHASE OF GOOSE
Peter: Aleksei, favorite holiday music nothing post 1965 Go! Rhino: (Yelling/fighting) Peter: Love that one Mine’s “Fa la la la la la la la laaaaa!” Hilarious 😂
So I’m assuming the next game is going to be Peter’s sequel. It’ll probably have Venom and Green Goblin. I thought it was going to be this game, but I guess not.
I predict they will split it, but mostly have Peter since most of the open plot-points come from the first game. I wonder if they will add onto the map.
Peter: Alexi! Favorite holiday music, nothing post 1965! Rhino: (Roars) Peter: Love that one! Mines…..fa lalalalaaaaa! Miles: Wow! Just wow! You said it Miles. I’m laughing my guts out right now.
Wait so Peter can beat both Rhino and scorpion in the first game at the same time but somehow can’t beat Rhino alone with another Spider-Man by his side?! ????
Well pete did have to use outside things to actually beat rhino instead of brute strength sometimes and pete got fucked by a gas tank whilst fighting rhino by himself so it makes sense
Yeah in the first game he fought them in a construction yard FULL of large things to hurt Rhino with. Here he was just running through the city causing chaos so it's harder to get him down
in comics spider-man punched scorpions jaw off lol . If pete wanted it, he'd decapitate rhino in 1 punch - he COULD beat rhino but his moral compass says no :/
Peter Parker: goes from being able to soundly defeat both Rhino and Scorpion on his own, while exhausted and heavily injured, to being completely unable to handle a 1v1 with Rhino while at his peak. Lovely.
@@icebergerplays9639 You are right! Not to mention Rhino had a job to do at that shipyard and couldn't leave since he was following Ock's orders. Here he's just running wild. Much more dangerous
Rhino: Let us raise temperature! Spider-Man: That must be Rhino for “Let’s turn up the heat”. And thanks for reminding us why Rhino is one of Spidey’s deadliest villains.
Let me get this straight. One of The Rhino's (a 9 foot tall walking talking M1 Abrams) hobbies is fly fishing on the Volga River. Alright I'm cool with that
From being afraid and hiding from The Rhino on the first game. Now conquering his fear to protect his buddy and mentor then ended up defeating one of the most fiercest villain in New York!
I'm almost willing to call this the definitive Rhino. He's not in a ridiculous leotard nor in that gun-loaded mech from Amazing Spider-Man 2. It's the sweet spot between the two, keeping it realistic enough to still get crazy with the concept.
8:00 how dafuk did Peter hang on from that no wonder he almost died. The guy just tanked multiple explosions while staying on rhinos back. I can’t wait for the second game.
@@sheikhrameen946 even if he had a way to fight. In spiderman he fought rhino and scorpion while having broken bones from the raft mission. Here he tanked an explosion. I guess the explosion messed him up more.
@@cosneanumatei5117 even tho he did that once does not mean he can repeatedly do it cause either way rhino is one of his most dangerous villans and in other spider man stoyes rhino has put pete on deaths doors a couple of times
I wonder when miles was talking about the goose chase, was he referring to when he was hiding from rhino because when he escaped rhino was like “I hate chase of goose” too
1:23 I love how we see that cop car get pancaked, and then a moment later the cops say "No casualties". Reminds me of "I can see his parachute" from DBZ.
I need help I'm new to this game, and I don't have to much patience I'm trying to catch Rino in the beginning of the game and I just can't can anyone help me on this what controls do I need to press so I can catch up to Rhino ,I keep pushing R2 and L2 and X but I keep losing him. Thanks
