This took me literally almost an hour to do. AND I DIDN'T EVEN DIE LIKE MULTIPLE TIMES JUST LIKE 3-4 TIMES. One of the most stressing and infuriating boss fight ever
charge up venom, then go invisible to position yourself for venom dash. Also dont fight on ground, jump and swing around, focus on pressing circle as long as the dodge indicator comes up; the venom will charge faster. Hopefully this tip will help someone who have not played it yet on ULT difficulty.
I hated that they did that to Rhino. In the comics, he is a family man, and his only reason for becoming Rhino was to earn money so he could bring his poor family to the states. Would've been so much better if they made him more understanding and maybe give him a more emotional moment with Phin. So sick that everyone forgets that Rhino actually is a rather deep and even tragic character, not just an strong idiot who don't care about who he kills.
@@venomrulesall you’re making the part about him becoming a mob enforcer to make money for his family up. Yes he’s a family man and yes eventually he tries to retire as the rhino to start a family with his wife, but in the beginning he was just a thug.
@@darthgriffin7741 I'm not making anything up. Look up his origin and you will see, he only became the Rhino because he was desperat for money to bring his family to the state.
You will probably not see the rhino again because he was already a big villain in two of the games. And yes this follows the events of the first spider man making it spider man two
Currently struggling with the second phase! I appreciate the tips in the comments, didn't think about going invisible! I was trying to use the old strategies from the first game of pulling stuff down or throwing stuff at him and then beating him up. I like that these games introduce new strategies so it's not the same thing every time.
It’s pretty easy. In the first stage, just keep getting on his back and riding him into tanks. In the second stage, he’ll start throwing tanks so you have to charge the engines and throw them at him. The third stage is the easiest one. You just hit him several times.
Guys the quest is actually super easy u just gotta wait for him to dash at u and then u dodge and web throw, u just do that multiple times and its over rwally quickly
I did it on ultimate .. took me at least 60 times to break the armour .. and another 80 to completed .. the battle is so intense .. if you don't dodge every 2 seconds you are getting hit with something
@@anikk7492 it probably took him that many tries because he’s trying to do it without taking damage which I like to do and as he stated you are going to get hit with something if you don’t constantly dodge .
When I did the mission first two times it was really hard but then I figured how to do it and literally defeated him in 5 mins Step-1: you will need to go on rhinos back and direct him towards the tanks and after 4-5 hits on the tank he'll have half oh his armour down Step-2: now rhino will throw tanks at you you need to go invisible, charge the tank and hit him 4 time with it Step-3: now that you have use venom to hit him first use L1+triangle + circle +the one which requires all 3 bard of venom) then hit him with L1+ SQUARE twice and he'll be down . just remember to dodge out if his way
I just really hope Rhino didn’t die? I mean I know that he’s a supervillain and that he kind got what’s coming to him for taunting Phin about Rick’s death but I think almost killing him was a bit too much
GUYS THIS IS FOR EVERYONE TO LAUNCH ONTO HIS BACK AFTER YOU HIT CIRCLE TO DODGE HIT IT AGAIN AND YOU GO ONTO HIS BACK At first I didn’t know how to get onto his back so that’s how lol
I feel so bad for Rhino in these games lol. Gets broken out of prison by a super-genius who promises to get him out of the suit, then gets paired up with Scorpion who he hates, then gets trapped in a shipping container with Scorpion, then goes back to jail, then breaks out into the city, then gets beaten up by a kid, then gets taken by a corporation to serve as an enforcer, then gets beaten up by the same kid again, and then gets stabbed. Poor guy needs a break
This was surprisingly not that hard. Yes the second stage was definitely the most frustrating part but as long as you know what you’re doing, this fight is pretty easy. Did it on spectacular btw
Im hoping to every lord there is, that we do NOT have to fight this dude in Spider-Man 2. or ANY future Insomniac Spider-Man game. And that he really died when phin stabbed him.
I don't see how he could have survived. Miles didn't get a chance to pull the sword out. The Roxxon guys were unconscious, so they couldn't help. Even if they could, why would they? Sure, Rhino was a powerful ally, but he would have betrayed them once he found out they had no intention of freeing him from his suit, so letting him die would be the smart thing to do. And even if one of them did call a medic, the suit most likely would've made his injuries difficult to treat. I hate to say it, but I don't see him coming back for the third game.
@@christianwelch4206 Tbh, that was pretty much a suicide to him seeing how many years he’s been stuck in that suit and how much he hated it, he knew what he was doing
I've been trying the same level for three hours straight and I can't get on Rhino's back at all. what should I press? I've tried all the buttons and I'm starting to get nervous about the whole game

Huh, very interesting..... As I guess fans just see Rhino as more of a C Tier Villain, like Shocker while Venom is more iconic. But still don't blame ya when you're tired of Rhino as he's more of a thug for hire and I feel Miles Morales should be his final appearance as I doubt he'll heal from that lethal wound Phin gave him. Funny enough, I don't have Rhino in my Top 10 favorite Spidey villains, as they're more relived for the legendary rogues.
Pretty sure that sword was still in him after Miles speared Phin. As much as I don't want Rhino to go out this way, I doubt we'll be seeing him in the third game.
I think it’s because you need to charge up your venom first. It’s so annoying that they tell you to press those buttons when it doesn’t work yet. But yeah try charging the venom up to at least a bar, then you can. (I’m still in the middle of this boss, and it’s so hard because of the charging up part mixed with the red stuff that stops you from using it. So idk **I might be wrong tbh.** I haven’t beaten it yet, so... Good luck tho!
@@chickenphat730 Thank you for you response, you're probably right, I managed to beat him fortunately, I completed the main story too, I really love this game, I hope they make a sequel, Miles is an interesting charachter, he's so cool
@@ashkanmathers2957 oh congrats on beating the game! And yeah I agree, I hope we get some sort of sequel or a co-op mode with Peter and Miles in Spider-Man 2, that would be really cool.
i don't understand too many are saying this fight is hard for me was very easy on normal mode and beat it from first try and not using 11 skills points tree
