The line Aunt May uses in this movie is actually a direct quote from the comics. The one we have heard up to this point was missing an important point. With great power there “must also” come great responsibility indicates a needed effort for responsibility where the other quote implies that responsibility automatically accompanies great power, which we know is untrue. Many powerful people are the least responsible in our society. I give props to the writers of this film for acknowledging the significance of the original quote.
@jacobhargiss3839

How is it untrue that responsibility doesnt automatically come with power? "Responsibility" doesnt just refer to the attribute of acting responsible, it refers to the responsibilities one has (whether they fulfill them or not). The quote isnt saying that when you get power you automatically act responsible, its saying that you become responsible for more things and it remains up to you to uphold those responsibilities.

2:34 Ned was the biggest surprise for me in the movie. We all know the Ned Leeds in the MU is Hobgoblin. But it looks like the MCU is going in a different direction with him. His Lola mentioned the magical lineage in his family, they focused on his Filipino heritage (along with Tagalog dialogue) for the 1st time, & they prominently featured traditional Filipino weapons in the establishing shots of his family home. More than just coincidence, I think ... definitely foreshadowing. I'm calling it now ... Ned derives his magical aptitude due to a familial link to the Diwatas (the gods of the Philippines from the comics).
