I haven’t played this game, but the key to beating them is parrying, and staying calm. Which is difficult, as the spiders early on are fear factor incarnate. Don’t worry, you’ll slaughter them like roadkill soon enough.
I've realized but it's so hard to engage them in the first place for me. if one just comes up out of nowhere I get so terrified LMAO. and oh for sure. here's hoping. Thanks for the comment!!!
It most certainly is. Spiders are dead easy to parry with coaltana. Parry everything, specially bosses. I even managed to parry the infected broodmother a couple of times after my friend died in the first fight lol.
Me and my friend potioned our way through infected broodmother lol. Parry the heck out of her as soon as you can. Parring her stuns her, then rain down crits while she's stunned. Make sure you're always defending, attack when it's safe. Use explosion resist trinket and beefy soothing syrups. The regular broodmother can't even hit us now, we spam her for her bits lol.
hello, enjoyed your video. A few things, the mounts and stuffed bugs do have a purpose. Plugging the canister of 420 releases infected bugs all over the yard (sorry). I would also like to apologize for laughing at your spider pain. I get it when I was a kid I picked up something in my room and a Huntsman reared up at me, not my most composed moment, freaked me out for some years. However I live in Australia and you just have to get used to them. :)
Make sure you use mithridatism and coaltana fire sword on spiders, with those two, all spiders, including infected and infused wolf spiders, are really easy. I can solo all spiders even in co op mode with this setup.
@@Rains3590 like I don’t even know why but it’s just the realism of the spiders like everything else looks sorta goofy but then you see the wolf spiders or better yet the black widows 😭😭
Enjoyed the video. I am a very big fan of this game and have lots of time in it. There was some talk and rumors that a animated show might be in developement based on this game. I do wonder with a phobia like you have do you feel any reduction to your reaction the more you have encounters in the game anyway?
I did cover the animated series in the iceberg videos and would love to see the spiders in that. but I am no less afraid of the wolf spiders since my first time picking up the game D:
yeah i love the idea of the content you want to make like all that what you said i cant tell what the exact words becuase of my goldfish memory but i do know the pop caps are actually full of gunpowder which is probably useful and now we know the lore behind your fear of spiders

As a fellow beginner, my base looks *garbage* compared to yours... BUUT I already killed both those wolf spiders (in a row) and a bunch of orb weavers so im not too mad abt it. 😂
