Eddie seriously couldn’t seem less worried about his girlfriend near death experience😂, he’s so calm about it all😂😂

2:18-2:45 Notice how the sound is utilized. The triumphant classic score is used. Then, the music fades out and the world becomes muted/quiet. You hear only the sounds of Spider-Man's effort, some environment noise, and Gwen's muted screams. Then the music comes back in/returns and crescendos to create impact and a sense of triumph/victory. All three Raimi movies utilize silence to create higher impact of magnitude in a given situation. Happens when the pumpkin bomb blows up in Peter's face in the first movie, when him and Doc Ock fall from the building side during the bank heist, when the car blows through the window of the café and Peter dives to save Mary Jane, when Harry throws Peter through an office building window and he almost loses Aunt May's ring, and when Peter returns the bomb into Harry's face during their second fight in the mansion. All those scene mute/dampen the sound before having a high impact return (in musical score and/or loud sound). You don't notice it if you don't look for it. But it literally makes the action so much more climactically powerful and cinematic. MCU could definitely take some notes.

After watching psychedelic movies like avengers and transformers you begin to appreciate good old made stuff, where there is a story, comedy, decent humor, time for a story to flow & develop and all wrapped in a wonderful cinematography.

Brock and the Captain really didn't care Gwen was on the brink of death.

Gwen: *dangling on the side of a building about to fall to her death* Her dad: "What is she doing up there?" Eddie: "Gwen and I are dating. Nice to meet you."

4:33 this scene never gets old.

If only Andrew saved Gwen just like Tobey saved Gwen

Every time I rewatch one of the classics & see Tobey swing while the music plays, I get chills every time. Reminds me of my childhood

Edward Brock completely unfazed Gwen is hanging on the side of a building enough to tell her dad that they’re dating 😂

This trilogy is golden.

I love that no matter what version of Spider-man it is they always pull off the most elaborate saves. Well most of the time.

Her dad's reaction to her daughter in a life threatening situation was to calmly say 'What's she doing up there?'

That was the best part of the whole movie. How he avoided the debris, while also jumping off to accelerate his dive. Very well done.

What an incredible performance by Peter Parker to save Gwen from death.

This was a damn good movie. I hate how much undeserved hate it got. I think the only downside to many of the fans was Topher Grace as Eddie Brock. He was the only person who was not quite comic book accurate but I loved him as venom. You know how most people do they see one little thing that I hate that’s not comic book accurate and then they just gotta ruin the entire movie. The deer loved it the fence loved it the world loved it.

All those years passed .. This is still epic ...damm love you tobey

Never gonna be the same without Stan Lee cameos.

Imagine how awkward it was for Tobey's Peter to hear Andrew's Peter failed at this exact same task with is barely being child's play for him💀

I still remember going to see this in theaters in 2007.

This movie is not as bad as people think.

The way he uses the debris to plunge towards Gwen is actually cool action sequence. Considering it was 2003 The VFX IS ABSOLUTELY Phenomenal

Tobey managed to disrupt Gwens canon event to die from a fall! The crane didnt manage to kill Gwen even afer three attempts.

Man seeing this scene of an out of control construction crane causing damage to another building like this reminded me of what I heard and saw on the news of a similar accident where a construction crane in New York caught fire and damaged another skyscraper in almost the same fashion as the one in this scene did.
