Overwhelming evidence presented, not from the good book as such, but from excerpts read (as aide memoire) from both the duty book and the police issue notebook pages of P C Sermon, not being P C Sermon read as a book nor a page. Circumstantially, these need to be accepted as tendered, in good faith. For if not so, an almighty bolt of enlightenment might cometh down upon all ye non-believers.
