Very insightful reflections, Jenn! I think many of us have this sort of "fairy godmother" mindset. Where we wouldn't normally be able to buy all of these things, but when they are on sale we are able to buy larger amounts and give them away to people we love and help bring them joy. The truth is, while this is very NICE of us to do this, it is not necessary and they will survive.

Very true. Good point! I still love that my girls can pull things for all the events and gift giving occasions they have. But having a gift stock pile does feed the habit 🙈🤷🏻‍♀️😂

sales are so harmful because you will never save more money than just not buying the item. i work at bath and body works too so i understand having a big stash. ive been trying to remember that i do not need every collection that comes out. ive been watching a lot more no buy/low buy youtubers and trying to avoid hauls because i get easily influenced. you are worth more than your products. i wish you luck on your journey

I’ve had the exact same mindset recently where I’ve stopped buying as much, and have been wanting to enjoy what I already have. I haven’t shopped in over 2 months which is a first for me since I usually shop at least 1-2 times per month. I haven’t even participated in SAS yet, but I will be participating tomorrow which I’m so excited for. My budget is pretty small but I’m honestly not looking for much, and I don’t think that my store even has a lot left, but I’m still super excited to finally participate, then I plan to go on another no buy again. But not purchasing new products for the 2 month time frame definitely helped me to enjoy the products that I currently have, and I’ve made so much progress in them, and finished quite a few up too!

I spent about 80.00 for 2 orders which I’m am proud of because I am a senior citizen and I realize I don’t need a large collection of products that I end up giving away to keep the clutter down so I just rather shop a little spring and summer and that is enough for me. I have a good collection of hand soap body care and a few candles so I want to use what I already have.

I did good this summer SAS between bath and body works and Vicky. All together I spent alittle under $100 and I'm perfectly content lol. I get so excited about the sales throughout the year because sometimes SAS is lack luster. I have always loved b&bw as a teen going into adulthood. I didn't start getting back into it when I started working for b&bw in 2021 seasonally and whew my collection definitely grew. I scaled back once I realized I had to store my body care in extra storage beyond my 3 tier roller cart. Right now I'm definitely enjoying what I have and just keeping inventory so nothing goes bad and I've done better with hoarding backups 😂😂

Hi Jenn, I shopped at SAS 3 times, once in store and 2 online orders. I spent $110. I did get the Thousand Wishes perfume that was half price on line as well as some Sweetheart Cherry lotion, spray and body wash. I don’t think it will be back anytime soon and I love it. I also bought Dahlia spray ,lotion, and shower gel which was 75% off. My husband spent about $40 himself for the 75% daily shampoo, 2 cologne sprays 50% off and a couple of fragrance sprays on sale. 11:45

I spent another $50 yesterday last day of SAS on line. Free shipping and I got 6 hand soaps in scents of Kitchen lemon and Kitchen Mandarin, 2 aromatherapy foam baths, two $1.98 wallflowers, and 3 of the 2 pack new fall wallflowers. I went ahead and ordered with the free shipping since the kitchen lemon hand soaps weren’t going to be much cheaper and the new fall wallflowers were a good deal for $5.95 each for the 2 pack.
