You could add a really simple clasp that could act as a quick release for the string. There are lots of things used for fishing that would work. You could also 3D print something clever with a magnet.
i would love to be able to retro fit this to the EEW nano 2, Idk if it would be able to print small enough. I thought about trying out some of the tension fixes that are out here on youtube.
