SPIN OUT & SIT OUT! Escaping the Turtle Position when opponent has a Front Headlock 

The Turtle position is one of the primary positions of Jiu Jitsu. Grapplers will find themselves in the top or bottom position of Turtle in almost every roll. From avoiding Guard Passes to failed Takedown attempts, there are many ways to find yourself in the turtle position.
In this video, Mike Palladino goes over 2 escapes from the Front Headlock turtle position. The first is the Arm Reversal, Spin-through or Ude Gaeshi. Garry Tonon is very good at this technique.
The second escape is the "Sit through" or "sit out" which is a fundamental reversal in Wrestling.
