majawow not just the US lol but not everyone has access to fresh spinach it just depends on the person although she could have just gone to the grocery store and get fresh bag Spinach which is all the better lol but she probably used it for it to be easier to cook as fresh spinach has water in them so it'll take awhile besides she did say in the video "it so easy tok make" so maybe that's the reason?
majawow Fresh spinach cooks down so much that you'd need to buy a huge amount of fresh spinach for this. The frozen is easier, more convenient and tastes just as good.
I made these and followed the recipe exactly. They came out cooked appropriately. The pastry was light and crunchy. The spinach was well drained and there wasn't a hint of sogginess. The only problem was they had almost NO flavor at all. I could barely taste the spinach and if it weren't for the fact that I stirred in the cheese myself, I wouldn't know it was there. Am I the only one?
