I'm hooked on your videos. Question; Do you always use just cocopeat as a growing medium, and do you also check PPM or EC before adding extra nutrients? I heard nutrients' strengths get stronger as plants use up all the liquid. I'm a beginner and I want to learn as much as I can. Thank you for the video.
thanks for watching! yes, I often use cocopeat because it's easy to sterilize and reuse. somemtimes i use sponges as well. I don't check ec or ppm because my kratky containers are small and the nutirent solution is just refilled every 2-3 days. I do pay attention to the ph meter reading and nutrient formula every time I make a batch of solution. for other hydro techniques, container sizes and large scale production, measuring ppm ec are very important.
