Cactus pads are rich in minerals like calcium, phosphorous and magnesium, and have moderate levels of protein and fibre. You can start harvesting cactus pads one year after planting and harvest pads every 4 months as per your needs. Cactus will give fodder for more than 20 years.

Best for making Ethanol and Butanol for flex engine vehicles. Indian drylands should be utilized to for such cactus farming for Ethanol and Butanol production....

Indians are starving so it is best that they eat it and use it as fodder for animals. Secondary uses: ethanol, butanol, hair conditioner, shampoo, paint, citric acid, lactic acid and fertilizer. In your way of thinking, you would let them starve. In my way of thinking, not only would they survive but would thrive with a diverse economy.

You keep on saying access agriculture. Why cant you just give contact details of right person so that we can get seed or pads, whatever is available. Even that site does not give details straight away.
