People frustrate me. Why is it always about making a “profit”. Double and triple the price on the secondary market. Seriously? Just enjoy the fun this hobby has to offer.
I agree about the crown and the ridiculous asking price. Its worth the original price for sure. I put mine on an orange strap which looks fantastic. Cant wait for Halloween.
I saw this one on Long Island Watches. It was too big for me, but very cool and the price is right. You are starting to sound like me, cheesy puns, I love it! To which I reply, that's the spirit, I hope this doesn't come back to haunt you. Thanks James.
Thanks for the great review. It’s super fun, but even at retail, there are a lot of other watches I would purchase before this one. But I’m pretty early in my collecting so maybe one day… Damn flippers. No watch is worth 2/3 times the retail price. 😑
¨No ghost position¨ 😂 very good. The crown looks fine to me, nicely in proportion. The dial looks superb, legibility is poor, but it's not a deal breaker. Hopefully Spinnaker will do another batch to undercut the flippers.
Such a fun watch. I was one of the people who cancelled their pre-order though. Ultimately as fun as it was i'd never wear it other than Halloween. Its too big and legibility too poor. I'd just play with it shining my uv torch on it. If i'd known they'd go for 3x the purchase price i'd have kept the order though!
The Spongebob series of special edition watches all sold out today within hours of going on sale (the actual Spongebob yellow dial variant, within 2 mins and on ebay for £1200 British Pounds - silly money!) so their special edition and collab watches are HOT!! But I'd never pay over retail and contribute to the madness!!
