Spinnerbait Pike Fishing! Savage Gear Da' MEGA Bush 

Hi Dan, during wintertime here in The Netherlands multiple (big) pikes can be found right next to each other in smaller city canals/ city waters (ofc they have to be connected to some bigger waters). In autumn/winter pike move from the rural areas into the city, because city water can be slightly warmer due to the heating of the houses next to them. They know a lot of bait fish like these slightly warmer waters as wel. As an extra plus a lot of people throw bread in the water to feed the ducks, the groups of bait fish will profit from this too, and will group together in these waters. Pike follow these groups of baitfish, and if you find these baitfish in winter, you can be sure there are pike around. Last weekend I caught 3 pike within 25 minutes, within 50 meters away from eachother, with a water depth of only 1 meter! On a Ricky the roach 14cm shad. 86cm, 92cm and 105cm, and they were fat as hell!! Right in the middel of small Dutch city. So the bigger mamma's don't only live on the bottems of big lakes during winter. Maybe you have some of these city waters as well in your Area? Could be cool for some winter-pike-footage! Hi Dan. Love the videos. I’m returning to fishing after a 22 year absence and have got the licences updated lures etc. However I’m after a bit of advice please. Things have changed a lot since I last fished and for the better with one area being barbless hooks. All the lures I’ve just purchased still have barbs on all be it very small ones in comparison to days of old. Do you leave the barbs on when you get lures or do you flatten them or remove them? Thanks for your help

The EA ran it off super low 2019 when everywhere proper flooded, think i made 4 casts in the river and went somewhere else it was that coloured and fast flowing.

I've always rated the daa bush dan , had loads out on them , lazy way to fish though straight retrieve . Had lots success on the fire tiger daa bush in cloudy water on the canals and small ponds

What is your "jig fly leader"? I use the same wire leader on all my lures and catch loads on the jig flies, especially at this time of year. What's the difference? Wondering if I can up my game!

That is a full size muskie spinner, in truth I do better with huge inline spinners, cowgirl and the likes. Great video as always.
