This rex was... interesting nonetheless. Instead of using rexes biggest strength, damage he let himself bleed walking away & sitting down. As a rex you gotta complete the hunt ASAP especially against a bleeder. I don't think he has much experience with it but great hunt all together! It takes balls of steel to charge a rex head first as a spino, haha. Keep up the amazing content n keep pushing out these vids. Life is boring nowadays.
Thing is, as rex, you NEED stamina to kill a spino. You can't go into a turnfight with it. This one didn't have enough stam left to kill Sticky, so their only choice was to get some of it back, which sticky wasn't gonna let happen.
Noobies tend to choose Rex cuz they think leg break gonna help em. It does but with no experience someone with experience will win over their leg break lol
Most of the time a spino, rex 1v1 results in spino win, as they are more powerful, but have better stamina, meaning more hits, and faster hits, which devastates those against bleeders
There should be a rule that any giant carnivores like spinosaur and Rex, when faced with each other, should just be a 1v1 and no one should interrupt them. Even by their companions
Honestly, when fighting a rex as a spino if they do leg break you after you've already landed a couple bites, stand still as they run through you. When they run through and you face them head-on biting you can/will hit multiple hit boxes as they sprint through
@@marshmallowmountains4636 more amphibious more back heavy and we finally know it really did walk on to legs the weight of the tail of perfect counter balance to the heavy front half
This is how to spino: ambush predator and the muncher of the right leg until it’s leg is broken, never head on rexes unless confident af Edit: you can munch whatever leg you want since if they let you on they’re practically dead anyway, just beyblade them up
@@imperiumeternity4520 that’s when u stop, u can’t out turn a running gigs, if he runs away, walk him down. If he comes back to attack, stay in crouch and wait for him to attack, then u use ur ambush and walking turn radius
@@beaugeeting3501 smart gigs can counter by making a sharp turn right after running through, it’s a efficient strat I implement when I play giga besides the usual Rex
Thanks to your vids Sticky my gameplay is getting really good. Multiple 1 v 2's that I'm winning as Giga. Soloing apexs as Utah. All thanks to your vids, you're a legend!!!
Hey sticky! I've actually been getting into playing spino recently and I've been taking on full adult rex's as fresh spoon. Tbh its alot easier to take on a rex when you're smaller lol. They cant really hit you as well. I also ride that booty like theres no tomorrow. But I picked that up from you lol 😂😂
Personally for me, when fighting I rex as a spino it is sorta 50/50. You have to turn at just the right angles and try and get behind, this is where spino health comes in.
13:33 I really like that you said why you would as your opponent so we can better understand how to react to situations. It would be really cool if you could do that imo
Using all the advantages that you have as a bleeder is perfect when fighting apexes, ESPECIALLY rex. As a long time rex main myself, I noticed a lot of little mistakes by the rex, leading to panic fighting. 1 thing you NEVER do in any fight is panic.
As a rex, he misplayed so hard wasting stam. He shoulda have just charged within range and ran you down, and done 1-2 bite run through if your leg broke, or kept running till he could turn on you if no leg break. As a spino I never have the gall to charge a rex straight on though so bravo for that. I usually use trees to slow him down to allow for more bites to bleed, and if my leg breaks I walk away to allow my bleed to tick more and he has to use more stam to close the distance to bite me. In the end usually I tank enough to where he runs out of stam and I bleed him out or turn battle him if he runs out mid run through. All in all, interesting video but that rex was... oof.
When I face spoon as rex , there is no strategy, face tank and my legbreak always malfunctions so then just ride to death or bleed out... it really sucks tho lmao.
I was spoon once and had a battle with two rexes In this same spot. Half the server was there to watch and we’re making bets on who would win in the chat. Barely survived but I managed to kill both of them. The whole server chat went absolutely nuts and I 1 called in celebration right as thunder flashed in the sky and illuminated the carnage. My best isle moment
Easy as fuck. Let them get on your ass and broken hitbox them. A Utah or dilo can not kill a Rex. Not possible. Only bad Rex players die to utahs and dilos. I could easily kill sticky if he tried 50 times in a row. Sometimes I will let a cocky Utah player bite me 10 times for free before I fight back.
Lol when I do rex vs spino I just left turn when rex attacks and if you get like 3 bites and the rex gets two you win. It’s pretty easy. I’m very impatient though so can’t the bothered to bleed it 😂
Not sure if these are the rules but if it's not a rule break to double bite then best tactic for a rex when fighting a spino is to get ambush double bite the spino in a head on do not turn around keep running straight so if your bite doesn't leg break you'll get enough distance to turn around and get that leg break, then just run through double biting the spino and it's a sure win for the rex.
@@kenshinhimura9387 how do you know they are trash players? Just because sombody says they killed a t rex as a spino does not mean the t rex player is trash.
I'm so addicted to this game lol;theres not story plots no "mission" other then staying alive and this game really will bring out the inner child in you !!!
I rarely ever see a spoon fighting a rex head first. it usually the other way around. hopefully now more spoons will have more courage then fear of the rex
I can't wait till EVRIMA pops in So spino and Suchos can stop hunting land hunters/herbs and focous on guarding rivers for fishing, there not really meant to take on huge predators anyway
