A fan-made track for an imaginary 13th Floor of the Spiral Abyss. Not to be taken too seriously :D
The inspiration struck me while I was sketching out music for upcoming projects. It led me to experiment a little bit and try out new sounds. On that note, I do find Genshin's Spiral Abyss and Domain themes to stand out among all the other pieces we hear throughout our journey, which I like. Anyways, I hope you find this enjoyable! :)

I love how with remixes you add your own flair to it to make it unique, but when it comes to fan themes yours sound straight out of genshin itself remixes are meant to be different, while fan themes should match the feel of where they're coming from (though I don't know what feels genshin anymore after the narwhal phase 2 happened, hoyo-mix is clearly the master of all genres lol)

I really like this! It sounds dark and mysterious, and also a bit desperate yet trying, which fits with the spiral abyss.

This is so cool Sumes! I really love the combination of the electronic drums, staccato chords and the piano melody. Also the introduction you added really sets the mood 🔥

I'm always happy to hear your thoughts Heo! For this one I wanted something more electronic / modern sounding while also including classical orchestra instruments such the strings. I didn't exactly manage to pull off a BG theme like the actual Abyss theme, but I was still happy with the kind of sound I got. The beginning and building up all that atmosphere was definitely one of my favorite parts about this. Thanks for giving it a listen and your kind words!!

Knowing hoyoverse, it might be another year before they even think about adding more floors to the spiral abyss, but this is such a great theme to listen to, who knows, maybe they'll add a floor where we fight weekly bosses with 10x more hp? (copium) Putting that aside I love this so much, like the current abyss theme its somehow chill yet unsettling, really feels like an in game domain theme!

Oh god just imagine if they put Narwhal on Floor 13 with 50 million Hp and a timer ticking LMAO 💀 Maybe we don't need Floor 13 after all. But in all honesty, I'd love if they added some Floors beyond 12 instead of gradually increasing the difficulty of F12 over the years. Glad you drew the connection to the actual Abyss theme. It's kind of intense but still perfect as a BG theme because it doesn't draw to much attention to itself. It also has a kind of modern electronic beat going as well. I'm not claiming that my theme is exactly that, because it certainly isn't, but I was definitely inspired by the Abyss/Domain themes in Genshin! Thanks for listening

WTF IMPOSSIBLE XDDDD Are you telepathic? TODAY I was even wondering what the fight music is in the Abyss, and I was thinking it's a little too bad it doesn't have its own theme... (I mean I think? At least it never struck me if it did xDD) AND THEN POOF!!! Sumes releases a theme for Spiral Abyss XDDDD What's the probability? It can't be a coincidence xDDD As for the music itself, I obviously love it! :OOO It's so calm, with that epic note! If I had that kind of music in the Abyss it would motivate me so much more, that's for sure! I have to think about putting it on when I will do it in the next rotation :DDD It has a vibe of an OST from Underverse (by NyxTheShield (3rd best compositor, after Toby Fox and you)), but can't remember which one, but just for this it's a banger :D Amazing work as always ^^

At this point maybe I have telepathic abilites haha! What else would explain this coincidences?! xD I'm happy you like the theme Luna! Tbh, I didn't really know how to approach it at first because Abyss and Domain themes are kind of their own thing in Genshin, unlike the usual music. I think I ended up doing something that's neither a domain theme nor a typical genshin-sounding theme, but I like it regardless xD (definitely put this on for your next abyss run, it will guarantee you 36 stars!!!!) As for NyxTheShield, I have never listened to their music, but maybe I should now :O And surely I'm not worthy to be put next to Toby Fox on that composer list of yours, but I'll do my best to meet your expectations! @@sumes Okey so is Ayato's theme going to be next? :333 As he reruns and all... You has already done Cyno's, and above all, he has one of the best musical themes from the game, and one of the most difficult to cover, of all the remixes/covers I've heard, NONE were up to the task, so just as I thought Hu Tao's would be unsurpassable, until yours, it's currently the case for Ayato's, so I think you're the only one in the world who can still do better, so I'll put it down here and do what you want xDDD To get back to our hilichurls, I understand your concern about this theme, but just the subject of the Abyss/Domain I find super original!!! So there's no need to always follow a model, you've already proved that many times hehe, which is exactly why you're totally worthy to be placed next to Toby Fox, you've already more than proved your worth ^^ In any cases no one can surpass him, so theoretically, you already have the best possible place XDDDD

@@MilkyWayTheCat Well, I'm glad to be put on your list of favorite composers at all, I don't mind being below Toby. But what about our lord and savior Yu-Peng Chen? He deserves a mention! ;D I agree with you on the Abyss/Domain thematic, it's really interesting, hopefully I can make more stuff in that direction once I learn even more! As for Ayato, I know that Inazuman character themes are very dear to your heart (Ayato, Yoimiya, ITTO). Too bad I wasn't uploading music at the time, or else I would've covered them all (but maybe it's a blessing, back then I wasn't as skilled with my productions). When it comes to creating covers of themes that have been officially released, it really depends on how motivated and passionate I am about the character and music because there already exists an original instrumental version. So, while I can't make any promises as of now, I'll leave the door open, as I'm all for being open-minded and trying out things I haven't done before. ^-^

You are challenged by SPIRAL ABYSS FLOOR 13! SPIRAL ABYSS FLOOR 13 sent out CONSECRATED SCORPION and CONSECRATED RED VULTURE! CONSECRATED SCORPION's aura flared to life! Its ELEMENTAL RES rose sharply! CONSECRATED RED VULTURE's aura flared to life! Its ATTACK rose sharply! Go! FURINA! I kinda like how the violins here sound a bit like in "Against All Odds" which is played in the official Spiral Abyss but...I guess my taste in tracks for extremely difficult fights is just oriented toward the extremely high-energy or dramatic. Think Azhdaha's Phase 2 battle theme "Rage Beneath the Mountains" or Cocolia's "Wildfire".
