And in years to come we'll see GVR do the same excursion from their end with their fleet of ex AT stock. Except theirs will have the option of air conditioned comfort for those who don't want to make the trip in 80 year old cars all be it lovingly restored.
@Phil-oj5nr Not quite the case, the EF class has previously pulled passengers on regular occasions, although none recently. This was, however, the first case where a refurbished EF has pulled a passenger train.
