Wind gusts of 60+ miles per hour caused havoc at the Las Vegas airport on Saturday. Many flights went around more than once and several diverted to Phoenix rather than try to land in the windy conditions.
We were hoping to see the attempted landing of American Airlines 2376 - I believe it aborted at approximately 4:40pm aw we had a friend on that flight. And a Mexican plane that tried 3 times before returning to Mexico. It looks like it was a really windy day !!! Glad everyone got home safely.
