Sending you love and blessings. ❤ As I opened my Book of Maps after watching this, to the page where I had paused weeks ago, I enjoyed the synchronicity of your joyous news of SKT arrivals prior to the Solstice … and read “the Ace of Chalices and Holy Water gives rise to the June solstice … the imum coeli…a personal sensitive point that reveals your origins story, and thereby offers insight into your innate destiny.” As I move deeper into my crone cycle, further into my 60s, I do perceive the SKT as Divine guidance, yes, even animistic, on a more profound level and welcome the insights to emerge. We the Māori of Aotearoa/New Zealand have a complex and powerful culture which is purely animistic. We are living it now. It has never left us. Everything is alive and has its own level of sentience and involvement with the universe and the nine heavens, ourselves, our mother earth Papatūānuku, our ancestors and our bloodlines, and those of us yet to come.

This concept, of the core overlapping principles of all theologies has been a driving force in my spiritual life. I knew as soon as I saw what you are doing that I had to support your work, and learn as much as I can from your rigorous academic approach. I had no idea what I was pre-ordering other than a beautiful deck. I think this was meant to be for me (and no doubt countless others). I have thrown the cards since I was a teen, but as I just begin the crone phase of my life, I much prefer to use the Tarot as a study guide to history, mythology, cultures and that journey we are all currently on called life. I ordered both the book of maps and the book of readings but have not opened them while waiting for the deck. Tarot for me is a guide to my personal journey, not something I do to predict the future. I use the artists interpretations of the Tarot to learn and explore - this plane and others. This video explains so well what I have gotten myself into, and I couldn't be more delighted. Thank you for this gift, Benebell. Haven't looked at the books yet but after watching the video, I am hopeful there are a couple recipes in there? One of my very favorite ways to explore the world is through cultural food. If not, sounds like maybe a blog post? Cheers to the shipment of the decks!

When you first released I wanted this, It seems like a a really advanced Deck that takes into account all occult practices around the world not just the hermetic methods of the original Rider Waite. I am definitely not going let this opportunity pass me by i will be able to connect with your line occult understanding. Hello Bell! I wanted to share with you a unique experience I had last night. Yesterday I received my SKT and unboxed it. Wow! The cards are gorgeous and I love them all! I had previously watched your video that talks about the cards being infused with spirits thus when we get the deck we become Spirit Keepers. Anyway last night I had a dream. I was in a vast space where I could see potent beams of energy shining in various colors. When I woke up, There was a name that I had never heard before. "Thalia" I could not get the name out of my head so I looked it up on the net. Thalia is a Greek Goddess! 😯 I began to wonder if my dream was somehow connected to the SKT. So yeah, it was pretty wild and I don't believe it's some kind of coincidence that I wake up from a dream in which a Goddess's name, that I'm unfamiliar with, is imprinted on my conscious mind. I also ordered the two SKT books, I can't wait to get them. The SKT is very special to me and it resonates very well. Thank you for designing it and sharing it with us! 👍💖🙏🌜🌠🎴

What a beautiful deck!!!!! Many thanks :) What mythologies did you have in mind when drawing these? I am familiar with most egyptian characters, a few greek, and almost no roman or eastern stories. Im also familiar with some hermetic symbols and stories. If i see heracles as the strength card for example, or thoth as the heirophant... it may add a layer of meaing when reading for myself or another. With that in mind, would any particular study help me understand some of the influences in the deck? Love and peace ✌ ❤

I really do not get over your comment that animism can be ridiculed in the tarot community. I know this happens, and I had this happen already. Animism is a core part of my own beliefs, and I wouldn't have it any other way. But, at the end of the day, I have to be content with my views, not someone else. And as long as my views do not hurt others, I rather live with some ridicule than ignoring them to "fit in".

I don't think only modern people dismiss spiritual entities relating to Tarot, I don't think anyone thought of Tarot in a supernatural way back in the 1800s did they? Did Waite, Levi, Crowley, Papus or anyone from the 1800s to the mid 1900s ever talk about Tarot in this way?
