Watching Spirit raise his head and neigh while running in front of his herd is a reference of the original Spirit. I watched this movie and nothing makes my heart soar than watching my favorite mustang running wild and free. 🐴
for a long time I wanted to see a TRUE Spirit Stallion of the Cimarron sequel, because I was 12 years old when Spirit was around...but it won't happen.
@@alexandriaprime4503 Yes including Rain and also a different design of Spirit and Rain's baby. I think it should have been the design that was from the Breyer Spirit Stallion of the Cimarron figurines, but no we got a Spirit clone with just a blaze that nothing resembles Rain. The baby figurine had a mixture of both Spirit and Rain.
@@alexandriaprime4503 it's possible they either died of old age making Spirit Jr the new leader of the herd and searched for a new home for them, or he left to start his own herd because Stallion of The Cimarron showed a lot of realistic behavior in horses.
Spoiler phrase! «Now that your staying, u need a horse» When I heard that, I thought Spirit would go back to Lucky, but ofc he would rather stay wild than to be with her, it was sad when they said goodbye..
But isn't he heading in the direction of Miradero? You see homeland behind him, but if you recall lucky looking out her window you see the horse shaped mountain from the opposite angle. Like I'm not trying to say he's tamed or anything either, It seems like they left it kind of open ended, but at the same time I feel like it's implying he's returning. Possibly to hang around like he does in the series? Either way, loved this movie and love the series. Thanks for uploading.
this movie was fun to watch(but not as good as the first though) Although it lacked any originality and the final act was under done. I'm sure most pre teen girls will fall in love with this film
