@@Skagb0yyeah but Ronnie fuckin sucks ass. I would rather fail than get indebted to that fuckin cry baby who complains when no one likes their music made for 14 year old emos.
"Just pay it forward" Everytime Ive ever done something nice like that for someone I say the same thing. Its how you give the gift that keeps on giving.
I went to Sound of Madness tour in Orlando FL and stood in line to have my cd signed. I asked Brent about Crow and the Butterfly. My brother died in a plane crash and my mother was a dark haired woman stuck in that same grief depicted in his video. I asked Brent about his dream. He signed my CD. I walked away. He called me back and he gave me a hug that to his day I swear to God keeps me alive. I swear on everything this man's hug and the hugs from every single band member keep me alive today. I sing their songs all the time. I mimic his voice. I loved spiritbox... but now knowing he breathed life into them the way he did me I feel this weird bond with the bands now. I am stunned and shocked and crying happy tears. Thank you Brent. Thank you thank you thank you. I still remember the sincerity in his hug. It was a real human hug and I hadn't had one like that since my brother had died. He saved my life and he didn't understand what that hug meant---- maybe he did because he called me back and just squeezed me back to life. I am so glad I found this reel. Brent is an angel. A literal angel. Thank you so much sir. Much love from Florida. Shinedown and Lynard Skynard was played at his funeral. What a Strange World. ♡
Amazing 🤩 Shinedown are really cool dudes and I'm sorry for your loss... I've lost my mom three years ago, I'm still not over it, but I'll try my best to keep pushing through and music keeps me alive ❤ Greetings from Germany 🤗
Beautiful story, thank you for sharing this with us. I had goosebumps while reading this. I truly believe music can save us, make us better, and help us feel connected as human beings. Stories like yours form the pillars to the temple of this belief. Take care.
That’s awesome! I thought they a slightly odd couple as touring companions, on paper, that actually worked really well, but it’s cool to know that there’s actually more to how these bands are connected. I like both groups, and I can’t thank Shinedown enough for their role in getting Spiritbox off the ground. Who knows if they’d even be around if not for that hand up at a critical time?
Well thank you shine down honestly Spiritbox is not only unique but it’s nice to have another female represent women in the space but also the music is soooooooooooooooo multidimensional like y’all deserve Grammys and a spot in rock hall of fame
that f-in guy....he is a savior, leads with spirit, praise the rock and metal gods for brent smith!!! and wonderful eye to help out spiritbox. truly amazing artists!
Met Brent from Shinedown at a radio show in Baltimore way back when Shinedown was first breaking The Thrash at Rash. Not shocked at all that he would do something like that he was one of the nicest dudes I’ve ever met, always been happy to see their success and happy they helped out such a great band like Spiritbox
That's good people right there! Shout out to Brent and thank you for helping this band stay alive cause Spiritbox are no doubt one of my favorite bands now. Also remember seeing Shinedown at the Civic Coliseum in Knoxville, Tennessee in 2009 I think, around the time their The Sound Of Madness album came out, and Shinedown was fucking amazing! They killed it! I remember I was so fucking high that night(that's when I was struggling with IT), and that was one of the best shows I can remember going to. If I remember correctly they played with Saving Able and Buckcherry and each band put on one hell of a show! Avenged Sevenfold were supposed to be there but they had to cancel(pretty sure he had to have surgery on his vocal chords then).
My wife and I saw your concert in Gilford, NH and it was awesome. It was our 3rd time seeing Shinedown and our first seeing Papa Roach and Spiritbox. Such an amazing show. This is an amazing story. We already though that was Shinedown was a great group of people, and to hear this story just reinforces that thought. Such a great gesture to help out a new band. If one band succeeds, in the long run, all bands succeed because it only brings more fans to all.
It’s wild that one of the sorta more conservative tagged bands helped nail out and promote one of the most progressive voices in the scene. Just goes to show at the end of the day all just people
So amazing 😍🤩 Thanks to Shinedown for helping them out, I love Spiritbox, they're one of the most talented bands now!! I can only imagine how expensive it is, especially when you have a whole tour cancelled
Covid destroyed a lot of lives but Shinedown helped you guys to survive the crash. That's really wholesome. Saw you guys in a RU-vid reel and now I'm intrigued by your music. The lead singer is a bombshell as well so that's a plus 😊
Magical how the universe works through weird random coincidence that don’t even make sense lol. You gotta trust the unknown no matter what comes up when you go for your dreams.
Hell yes I love when bands try hard to become something and other bands take notice and help them in some way. That’s amazing. At the end of the day we are all here to do something. Some choose bad others choose good but we all die and go somewhere. So let’s be good the bad is for children let’s be adults and help others when we can.
That’s awesome shinedown are true legends!! One of my all time favourite bands!!! . And you all my absolute favourite your guys sound and lyrics omg 🙌 . True ledgends work together 🙌🙌
Apart from him being a real metal pal, he knew like we all did before they became Big, that Spiritbox was destined to explode worldwide. The same feeling I had with Jinjer before they gave them the Visa to enter the states. I felt it in my guts that both bands just needed THE break they each deserved
