Great sermon! Really helped in preparation for leading a study our small group is going through on spiritual gifts One thing I feel compelled to mention is that CS Lewis does talk about the resurrection in Mere Christianity. Specifically in book 2, chapter 5, "The Practical Conclusion." Also in book 4, chapter 5, "The Obstinate Toy Soldiers" Lewis states "The Man in Christ rose again: not only the God. That is the whole point. For the first time we saw a real man. One tin soldier - real tin, just like the rest - had come fully and splendidly alive." Lewis elaborates on the tin soldier metaphor further in the pages following and how Jesus death and resurrection began to "affect the whole human mass in a new way." Again, great sermon and enjoyed every second! Entertaining and enlightening. Thanks!
