Hi Vimoh i came to know you through your interview with bhajapod. And now regularly following and listening your pod on Spotify. Switched to RU-vid today . Wish you all the best.
one argument that I can formulate from what people generally say- About materialism. All the bad things that happen in the world directly or indirectly happen due to the greed for money, influence and material well-being. Wars, spreading communal hate, pseudoscientific practises, limiting the supply of essential medicines, etc. So if not theism, not materialism then what is the alternative? In an idealistic material world, people only further their interests up to limited extent so that everyone can have a piece of the pie. Similar to how in an idealistic theism view, all theists are moral people.
I would like to add to the point of knowing about gandhi’s views, if someone can read/translate his Gujarati newspaper- which was totally different from his English version, you can find about his real views, as clearly said by Babasaheb in an interview. Also, many people tend to idealise gandhi Gandhi just for his non-violent/benevolent views and don’t even know that his Harijan ideology was downright casteist and patronising
