I love these documentaries with the speaches of real pilots and WW2 experts

See that was the amazing thing about the spitfire. Almost every pilot who flew it always came back complimenting its performance. According to them, you almost made a bond with your spitfire and it always did what you wanted it to do. It also basically saved Great Britain in the Battle of Britain as it could relieve hurricanes of the main fighter role because, being a 1930s design, were starting to lack behind the new and improved BF109s that were coming relentlessly over the coast escorting bombers. I think the British people (me being one of them) should really appreciate the spitfire and R.J Mitchell in our history for basically saving us when we most needed it.

I’ve been lucky to hear see and touch these aircraft and seen up close. RN Historic flight has some of the rarest aircraft of this era still in flying conditions. There both a credit not only to the people that designed but the people who flew in anger. The people who maintain and keep this living history so that the younger generation can see and feel the living history are some of the most amazing people I’ve had the pleasure to meet I’ve fond memories of drinking coffee and listening to them over south dispersal. Hanes manuals did a manual of the swordfish well worth a look good picture of Dicky in it.

It was the Hawker Hurricane that won the Battle of Britain. Yet the Spitfire, like a beautiful woman, got the glory.

The Spitfire is a magnificent aircraft. It's just a shame R.J. Mitchell didn't live to see how important his plane would be in the war. There was only one thing I've ever heard that pilots didn't like about the Spitfire, the fact she wasn't stable enough to be trimmed to level flight and be able to take your hand off the stick. It was because stability was sacrificed for agility, a sacrifice I think was worth it. Meant that she had to be flown, you had to keep her under your control. Heard that on a tour of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight hangar at RAF Coningsby (yes, the guys who do all the fly overs with Spitfires). Air RB Spitfires I find is quite fun with friends. I have 3 mates who have Spits and we can do fairly good teamwork. We climb together, watch out for each other, and we fight together (mostly).

Other Bri'ish: Hurricane? Americans: P-51? Hellcat? German: What abou- oh wait we lost the war.

Love your vids, and since 2021 began I‘m seeing much more „professional“, cinematic and exceptional intros as well as the small introduction of the pros and cons with the lines in the hangar. It’s very nice to see and makes the videos even more enjoyable. Keep it up! 👍🏼

Hi everyone, I'm very fortunate to have the ability to say that I completely understand what the veterans said at the start as I had the amazing opportunity to go up in a Spit for my 18th birthday, I'm 20 now so it's still fresh in my mind and the veterans are completely right it's so snug in the cockpit and you actually feel like you've been merged into the plane & are now a part of it. Once you've flown it (which I'm again privileged enough to say I had hands on flight time) you get what everyone who has flown a Spit always get when you talk about it: the Spitfire smile. Ear to ear everytime you talk about it! Victory rolls are absolutely stunning & beyond anything I've ever experienced. One thing I will say...my god is she powerful😂when the throttle is opened up you feel the whole plane shake and come alive & you get pushed back into your seat, she picks up speed ridiculously quickly as well. She is also the most maneuverable thing I've ever been in. I know this has been a long comment but there's no short way of telling people about it. 100% know that this plane saved the world & I'm privileged enough to say I've flown in one.

Dude I was playing war thunder today and I when I was in a game, I was using the T-26-4 and i called artillery on B and a plane on the other team flew by and somehow a shell hit it and i got the kill.

You need to try out the m47 105/55 for Italy, it is such a fun tank to play, it is fast, has a great shell(don't use heat). It is the definition of a sniping tank. And its survivability, oh my god. It has 4 crew members, 3 in the turret, yet turret shots rarely kill you, only taking out one or two crew members. It is such a fun tank to play, with its speed, decent armor, and great shell. The only negative of the tank is its -5 depression which is depression, but at far ranges(where you should be with this tank, or flanking) you do not even notice it.
