the stem height is so damn short too. Absolutely needs wider and longer foot platform like EUC’s have! Pretty strange scooter, I hope they make the correct changes so it’s not terrible.

I ended up buying myself a Zero 11x I sold a couple Tesla stocks when they were at around $1,100 and said why not, I am 27 I have no kids and I am single, so why not?!! . I used to own the Qiewa Qpower but this Zero 11X is Insane I can never get tired of even looking at it. It get a lot of attention!

A long ride on a scooter can be uncomfortable because you're standing all the time, but you have a deck. Here, you're standing on pegs the whole time. OK in extreme offroad situations but very uncomfortable.

I don't see any advantage to this design , in fact the geometry looks wrong and it get very tiring standing on 2 tiny pedals. You can't shift your weight around like on a regular scooter .
*Ive had this for a month before getting rid of it. The idea is cool but the power on this thing was fairly weak. The speed modes are at slower then what I would have liked. Had 5 modes. One went 2mph, the second went 6, third went 9, fourth did 15, and last did 20. And when you went 15 or 20mph, the battery drains INSANELY fast. You only get 10-15 miles max out of it. I really really didn’t like that. Also don’t sit on it unless you actually get a seat to put on top. I sat on the rear plastic and it broke. Massive crack. I’m not even heavy either, 130lbs. And it also takes forever to change it from a tall stem to a short stem. It might look cool and you look cool while riding, but for the price it’s really really below average at best.*
Thank you for another great video. I will be honest this is probably not the scooter for me because it doesn't go fast but I'm sure. If this gets enough recognition splach can tweak it to much faster. Thanks again I can't wait for the next high speed scooter you take for a ride.
Would it help with comfort if the pedals were around the size of an euc’s pedals? This is pretty cool. Could give scooter riders options for a different stance.
And Foldable ones, same as on EUCs. Some options with little wider Tires, and redefining the "Trunk Lids" more easy to unlock to get to the Juice Pack. This could be a success in Europe, where we all suffer from restricted Top Speeds from 20 km/h in Germany etc. to 25 km/h in some European Neighbours, price below 900€ , done
Not a bad design. I have several issues with it though: a. The battery is ‘a brick’. I wonder about the weight, and the range isn't exciting. I guess though its LiFePO4 (??), which at least offers long life. Nice to know otherwise. b. The battery connection is ‘poor’. i.e. You have to remove 2 parts to get to it. c. The waterproofing is poor - just IPX4 - a low rating - I think the highest is IPX7. d. I’d like to know how ‘tight’ it is to go on the beach. e. They didn’t show how it packs away - I’d like to know if this could be compactly stowed to go on trains. I think the design has some way to go. A bit better disclosure would be nice.
Unique design. But the stats are rather disappointing. I know Splach is trying to make it affordable but they need to make it more powerful & have the fun last longer per charge.
I have one of these and and first - just awesome. After 50 miles I got a flat on the back tire. No problem, just change the tube. Well - OMFG - you have to be an expert to do that! You have to detach the disc for the brakes (with one Allen wrench) and then detach the motor from the rim (with a different Allen wrench) before you can even get started. And no bike shop in Hillsboro, OR will touch the thing - so I'm on my own. If you got a flat on the way to work, you're not going to make it. You'll be on the side of the road for hours. I'm very disappointed in this aspect. Flats happen, but you can't need the rider to be an expert mechanic to get it back on the road.
Yup, they definitely aren't the easiest thing to work on. We're working on some more tutorial videos, and hopefully we see more local shops opening up soon. We've also got new vsett 9+ solid tires that will enable you to never get a flat again. 👽🖖
@@AlienRides hey bro I've seen the k6 which ik your aware of but big issue concerning people is the battery is way smaller then the K4 and K5..... Why make something faster with less battery makes no sense man if you can speak to gotway that be amazing I've spoken to E-Rides aswell 👊
@@electricridesuk7645 yup, they’re using their new much safer battery technology, lithium iron. We aren’t sure if we will be stocking those ones yet, we will see….
