I love how since there was no music some random people started singing hooked on a feeling cause disney owns marvel so technically speaking guardians of the galaxy is disney but mostly marvel but it's was interesting

omg it would be more creepy if all u can hear are the animatronic sounds, like the motors and the gears moving and see their movements but no audio. lol

I had the same thing happen to me when I rode it as a kid. But the animatronics suddenly came back on as we were riding the ride. Scared the shit out of me. Till this day I have nightmares.

I went on this ride this past summer and the whole ride broke down. Had to walk through the animations in the dark and out through the ugly back part of the ride. Very creepy.

I love how it's playing the zip a dee music right until you enter the actual scene and then it just HALTS abruptly

Today, I went on Splash Mountain, the DISNEYLAND version. The animatronics weren't moving, but audio was still coming out of them. After the Brer Bear Butt drop in the dark, the ride stopped at the lift hill for the big drop. The lights went up and we were evacuated from the ride

That may have been the best ride through of Splash Mountain I ever experienced. The several times I rode this in both Disney Parks (CA and FL) was never this much fun. The soundtrack that you guys provided was more more fun than the actual ride through soundtrack. Who needs animation when you could have a good laugh and good memories with your friends on a less than perfect Splash Mountain.

i think the whole audio soundtracks are broken, good think there one bear saying ''ouch ouch OUCH'' because the bee hive on his nose. and one song that you enter brer fox's lair is still playing.

Wonder what causes these ride-wide malfunctions. Maybe one breaking down can cause the rest to malfunction due to the timing becoming off? Animatronics are such interesting things.

ok so I've really been creeped out by splash mountain ever since it started having problems in 2014 and kept on pausing throughout the ride and whenever we go on it I keep my eyes shut through most of it (I can deal with the laughing place and the final zippity doo da dancing) and my mother calls me a pussy, but looking down through these comments im obviously not the only one creeped out by it! it just feels good to know im not the only one and that my mother is a bitch

It’s unfortunate that this ride is now gone, but unlike some, I’m hopeful for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.

Whoa! This is way creepy! Something similar happened to me while riding on the Great Movie Ride during my last visit to WDW. The ride still worked but the audio was completely silent for some time except for our gangster who still recited his lines and made no mention of the malfunction whatsoever. It got really freaky during the Alien scene and all I could hear were the gears. The silence finally ended in the Indiana Jones room and the audio from the cowboy room turned on. We all looked at each other and cracked up until the audio was corrected. However, nothing beats the creepiness of the Chinese Knock-off of It's a Small World…

I once went on the Haunted Mansion and there was no narration. I hadn't thought the attraction could get creepier; I was wrong. I still wish I had been recording it, but I didn't have a camera at the time. Not as creepy. Not as creepy as this. I would like to start a selection of non-working ride-through videos. (Did they let you on again after it started working?)

XD when I rode repeatedly (about 12-13 times) literally we would watch the animations stop then go cause sometimes they'd brake, and the first time i ever rode the entire ending animatronics werent working. That had no idea until i told them, and the ride closed for the rest of the day...
