@@yurimessiah A whole new Mario Kart + DLC. Most Mario Karts only had 16 new and 16 retro tracks before the original release of 8 got it's DLC, bringing that number to 48 tracks total. If they include some brand new tracks in future waves, I'd say this is definitely more than worth the price. And even if not, it still means we can play new versions of existing tracks for the first time in 7 years, and can finally play the tracks introduced in tour without having to play tour!
Idk if you noticed, but the new "miis"aren't the only avatar you can choose for Nintendo switch sports resort! During the match between (The announcer and the one in the athletic gear sorry I forgot their names), they're using their own goofy little classic miis! I'm glad they didn't permanently switch to the new miis.
This trailer definately had a more Background Mechanic focus to it. Despite that, this trailer was definately underwhelming. Still waiting on more of the main gameplay. (New subs, main weapons, modes, etc). Nice to see some small details we didn't know yet, but its sad that the only thing that looked like a new feature was the Chonky Boi, but they didn't show gameplay of it...
Yeah I was pretty underwhelmed because I had high expectations because I actually knew there was going to be a direct this time. If I didn't know there was going to be a direct, I would probably be much more excited than I am now-
This trailer was the definitely the weakest one of the 3 we've had so far,, Nice to see the QOL updates and new bosses but... this was shockingly underwhelming. I was super confused for half the trailer because I thought it was DLC for Splat2 to hold us over until Splat3 came out. Despite the few new additions, it's much too similar to what we've had for the past 5 years to be shown as a trailer. WELP! Now we just gotta wait for the inevitable Splat3 direct + test fire! Also, how are we gonna be friends with L'il Buddy, then turn around and body their kin behind their back? Yikes...😅

I'm so excited to see the Salmon run changes and play against the new bosses! The direct had some unexpected surprises which was awesome. Can't wait for the new Nintendo Switch Sport!
if it is, the scales look MUCH more prominent on it than on any other salmonid, except the *Golden One.* maybe little buddy transforms from a baby Small Fry to a Cohock and then to a MASSIVE GOLDEN SALMONZILLA????
TBH this trailer felt the weirdest of the bunch? Like the music was kinda funky? I didn't quite like it personally. Also the way they didn't add new D-pad talks options is kinda disappointing. New bosses are cool but we got like nothing about the weapons or the stage or like anything else. Just 2 new Bosses, Egg Passing, New UI and that's really it. I wish they revealed more lmao
i personally loved the music! omega-3 (the salmonid band that plays all the Salmon Run music) amped up the funky unsettling weirdness for this ominous sounding new wave. i still wonder how we can "Save [their] Salmonids"...
I think a reason why the trailer may have felt underwhelming is that Salmon Run is popular and still fun, but it's also an after thought to the main gameplay; I personally loved it though and I am very excited. Also I am confused about why we are still fighting the Salmonids when Little Buddy is a Salmonid; an answer may come to light though once the game releases this summer.

I don't see why people are hating on this trailer :') It was good, also, the first Splat 3 trailer was the weakest imo because it: 1. Announced the game 2. New spawn points????? 3. Splatsville????? Second trailer: 1. Gives us a look at new special weapons. 2. Confirms that multiple weapons will return. 3. Story mode poggers. New Trailer: 1. epik helikoptdopter 2. Fish Stick is literally the best name ever. 3. Flipper Flopper is literally the best name ever. 4. I’m disappointed because I don’t see the reason to throw 60$ at a splatoon 2.5. From the looks of it ( so far ) there’s not much that’s changed besides a few new bosses and an egg throw..? These could’ve been simple dlc patches for splatoon 2.

We do have details, but it kinda feels like it's all over the place. Buuuuut, I have a little theory... So in salmon run, we usually have boss waves, but what if the third wave is like, an even harder boss? Anyways... Can't wait to see your future content!!

I don't get it, seams like Nintendo wants Fans money, but no more Fans... I would like to have a switch (we have 2 on family), but i will never buy a nintendo game, so expensive, and i still need to buy a subscription to play it online, what even is this? I need to pay more, for a game i will use 3 times a year, and buy a subscription, if i want to have some fun? I'll buy anything else, a camera light is more usefull than nintendo products (wii and wiiu were fun tho). The only games that saves, are things you will mostly play offline, like Sports. Don't like what nintendo is doing. I'll repeat for the third time, my opinion, they make you buy a subscription, to play online, on sh**** servers, even if you play it once a year :I Remove the subscription Nintendo, and i'll consider to give you my money for the next version of the switch -_-
